Chapter 6- Girls Day Out

POV Mari
    I woke up on my couch with Dr. Who still playing on my tv. I was slightly confused before I look to my right. Wes was fast asleep with my head on his shoulder and his arm around me. I knew I shouldn't be but I was happy. I carefully got up so I didn't wake him. I walked up stairs on my phone about to take a shower and I got a text.
Courtney- Hey wanna go to the mall with me Olivia and Boze?
Mari- Sure I gotta shower and get ready. Pick me up at 2?
Courtney- Sure thing. See ya
Mari- See ya later
I hopped I the shower and was out in about ten minutes. I got dressed and walked downstairs.
    "Good morning" Wes said as I walked by.
    "Good morning" I said. "Hey do you want pancakes for breakfast?"
    "Yeah sure sounds good. Want any help" he asked sweetly. We made chocolate chip pancakes. After talking some I learned he loves video games and chocolate. He's like I kid on the inside. He's really sweet, funny, and really cute. Wait what? Mari no him and his friends bully you and your friends.
    "Hey I'm going to the mall with Courtney Olivia and Boze. You can stay here and do whatever. No parties and no mess please" I said as I got up to get ready.
    "Okay got it" he said. I walked up stairs to my room to get ready. I did my hair and started on my makeup when Wes walked in.
    "Hey" I said.
    "Hey so how long will you be gone" he asked.
    "About two hours. Three at most. Why do you ask" I say.
    "Just wondering. So you'll be home for dinner" he asked.
    "Yeah. Now I have an hour before the girls come to get me. Wanna play some assassins creed" I asked.
    "Oh of course" he said. We played video games for a while until I heard a honk outside.
    "Well that's Courtney. I'll see you at about 5" I said walking out.
    "Hey Mari" Courtney Olivia and Boze said almost at the same time.
    "Hey" I said getting in the car. "Okay let's go" I said closing the door. The car ride was normal. We played music and sang at the top of our lungs. Once we got to the mall we started talking a lot while walking around.
    "So I have a question" I said "why do those guys at school always mess with us?"
    "We don't know. Ever since we could remember they did. Once we got a new friend they would mess with them to. That's why we don't have a lot of friends" Olivia said. I started thinking about how they messed with us. That's when I realized something.
    "Guys. Have you ever noticed how one of them won't mess with us as much as the others? Like they won't physically hurt us" I said. It was silent for a moment.
    "What exactly do you mean Mari" Boze asked.
    "Like. Shayne won't hurt Courtney. Anthony won't hurt Olivia. Flitz won't hurt you Boze" I said. They let that sit for a minute.
    "You're right" Courtney said.
    "What about Mari" Olivia asked.
    "I know" Courtney said. She paused.
    "Well tell us already" Olivia said.
    "Wes. He has never hurt you. The worse thing he does is grab your arm and say something" Courtney said.
    "But why would they do that. They'll say mean thing but not lay a hand on us. They let the others do that" Boze asked.
    "I have no idea. Maybe if we start to ignore them and they stop hurting us then we'll be able to find out" I said. They all nod. Hopefully we'll figure out what's going on.
