Chapter 4- Reveng and Promises

POV Wes
    Today was the day I got to talk to Mari. She lives next door to me but I wanted her to meet me behind the school so no one saw us. I want to say sorry about yesterday and I want to get to know her. Maybe she'll be someone I can tell about my problem. I hop in my car and drive to school hoping Mari would still me up with me. I got to school and everything was normal. Pick on kids go to class pick on more kids. I was on my way to the cafeteria when I saw Mari Courtney Olivia and Boze walk up to my table where the guys were sitting.
    "Look I know you guys don't like us but we want to got passed all that and apologize for whatever we did. So we got you guys this pizza" Courtney said as I walked up. All the guys looked confused.
    "How should we trust you? What if we open the box and it has worms all over it" Joven asked?
    "Open it for yourself" Mari said with slight sass in her voice. I let out a slight breath of a laugh.
    "Okay whatever" Joven said as he opened the box. It looked completely fine, good actually. I look to everyone and nod my head and we all take a piece. I noticed that the girls are backing away. Damien saw too but shrugged it off as did I. We all took big bites and it was the worst thing I have ever eaten. We were all angry.
    "You little get over here" Anthony yelled and the girls turned and ran laughing. We ran after them furious. We were catching up when they left the building. We followed then when I got close enough to grad Maris arm.
    "Look never ever do that again" I said scaring her. The other guys continued chasing the other girls. "Look please meet me after school. I'm sorry for scaring you" I said. She didn't answer just nodded. I let go and walked off.
POV Mari
    Even though Wes scared my I agreed to meet him still. I told the girls I had to do some chores and homework today after the final bell rang and they walked off while I was shuffling through my locker. I looked around they were gone and I walked behind the school. I waited for a few minutes then I saw Wes running up to me.
    "Hey Mary I'm glad you came" he said with a bright smile that made my stomach feel weird.
    "Yeah. So why am I here" I asked confused.
    "I just wanted to get to know you some. You seem nice and cool" he said and I raised an eyebrow.
    "Um okay? So what do you want to do" I asked. "My parents are out of town if you want to come over" I offered.
    "Okay that sounds good" he said as we walked in silence to our cars. I drove to my house and parked but Wes parked next door because he lives there.
    "So I won't get in trouble for being over" he asked.
    "No you won't" I said in response. "So you seemed like you had something to tell me yesterday?"
    "Yeah I do but you have to promise to never tell anyone. Ever" he said sounding very serious.
    "I promise" I said as I opened the door to my house.
