Chapter 7- Think Its Time

POV Courtney
    So today's the day that we start to ignore the boys. It's been two years for them bullying me and Olivia. One for Boze and about three or four months for Mari. I'm sick and tired of them. It's time to put a stop to this. I continue thinking while I walk into the school and run into Mari.
    "Hey Court" she said smiling brightly. "Ready for the day?"
"As ready as I'll ever be. I hope this plane work" I said.
"It will" she said as the bell rang. "I'll see ya later". We waved and left to our classes. Shayne is in my first class and I'm nervous because he normally picks on me while I'm working. I continue walking down the hall ignore the occasional shove in my shoulder from one of the boys. Finally I get to class and take my seat next to Shayne.
"Hello loser" he said. I sat and said nothing. I just got out my notebook and homework. "Hey I'm talking to you freak" he tried talking again.
"Mr. Topp quite and take your notes" Mr. Bereta said. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Shayne look at me mad but he let it go. I smirked and finished my notes and thought that this might not be so bad.

POV Shayne
It was lunch and I knew I needed to talk to the guys about what's been happening with the girls today. Normally Courtney is head strong and defensive. She's not afraid to not back but today she was quite and reserved. I wasn't a fan of it. She's cute when she gets all defensive. I like her a lot but the other love picking on the girls. I wanna tell Courtney the truth. Hopefully the others will start to back off them and I can tell her.
    "Hey Shayne" flitz said as I walked up to our table. I waved and said hi to everyone. As they were talking I just sat ate and was thinking.
    "Hey Shayne you doing okay" Damian asked. He's been my best friend since we were born. He's also the only one that knows I like Courtney.
    "Yeah I was just thinking" I said and asked them about the girls "hey have you guys noticed how all the girls are acting different? Like they aren't talking to us or being defensive."
    "Yeah your right" Ian said. He never really hurt the girls he just used his words.
    "It's not fun" Noah said "what do you guys think is up?" Wes was quite he just sat there staring at the table in deep though.
    "Maybe they're trying to get us to stop" Wes said breaking out of his thoughts. "It's smart. If they ignore us we'll get bored and stop mess with them."
    "Well maybe they're wrong" Anthony said angry.
    "Maybe we should" I said. They all just looked at me with blank stairs. "Think about it. They have never done anything to us. Maybe it's time we stop and maybe just be their friends." No one said anything for a moment.
    "I think he's right" Wes said finally breaking the silence.
    "He is" Flitz said. Slowly everyone nodded.
    "So how and when do we apologize" Sohinki asked. We all sat and thought.
    "I think I can get them to meet us behind the school after schools over" Wes said. We didn't question it we just went with it. So it's settled we'll apologize and maybe I'll have a chance with Courtney. I think it's time to say we're sorry.
