"Well hello there darling." He said in her ear.
She turned to look at who was speaking to her. "Why are you here?"
"Well love, you got a little to wasted after your shift yesterday. I walked you home and put you to bed." He said as he put his glasses back on his perfectly sculpted face.
She just stared at him. Hes was absolutely fucking beautiful. "Well thanks, but this is my moms house. Im staying here while im waiting on income tax this year. Then me and a friend are getting a place, split bills ya know?" She said to him. "Not to rush you or anything but you'd probably better get going. My dad will flip if he sees you here."
"No problem, gorgeous." And then he was gone.

What the fuck did I do last night?
She thought to herself in the shower. Oh man what if I really messed up?
She kissed her mother on the cheek. She was sticky from sweat. "Love you mom, ill be going to Izzys place tonight."
"Okay honey, you girls be safe now." She said as she scooped dirt into the pot for the seeds she was about to sew. She worked a lot on the garden. Jasmine never realized how old her mother looked. She looked so aged. With wrinkles and lines all over her body. But even through all that she still saw how beautiful her mother was.
Jasmine arrived at the good ol' nut hut. (Her place of employment) Beck was there and boy was she pissed.
"We have fifteen orders goin' out today suga' and let me tell you I'm glad you're here cause I'm gonna need all the help I can get!" She said as she prepped macaroni and cheese. They worked at a not so fancy shmancy bar and grill type tiki hut.
"What the hell do you mean fifteen orders!?" She said while putting on her apron.
She was now making apple pie. "Yeah babydoll and they're all from the same man!"
"But why?"
"I'm not sure suga. Some type of fundraiser or something to help promote his new business." Beck was throwing pie crust around like a damn crazy black woman.. Oh wait. She was a crazy black woman.
"Beck, I'm not sure i can handle all the pie crust right now. It was a very long night." Jasmine said. Jasmine was now making cheesecake and after that she was probably going to go have a smoke. She couldn't handle all the orders on top of all the customers. She was on the verge off yet another panic attack.  She was stressed and she couldn't even lie about it. "Beck, I need a smoke." She said finally.
"Suga, you okay?"
"Like I said, it was a long night." Jasmine said now walking out the door.
Beck met her outside "Whats goin' on now darlin'?"
"I think I may have fucked up last night Beck." Jasmine said staring at the wall of the old building. New Orleans was something else. Not like her birthplace at all. The complete opposite in fact.
Beck just stared at her. She gave her a look up and down and then she said it.. "I knew it was a mistake to let you leave here with him last night."
"What are you talking about?"
"Girl, you left here with Oliver last nignt. I thought to myself i ought to not let ya go but I let ya go. I shouldn't have." Beck was fanning herself now. Choking on smoke. She was a five pack a day smoker.
"It'll be okay. How about we don't talk about it. You got the stuff?" Jasmine said.
Beck then pulled at little pink velvet pouch out of her bra. The contents was something that was not only illegal but it was the best smoke around.. White rainbow kush. "Ooooo suga I got you girl."
Jasmine handed her a thin strip. It was a hemp paper. "Lets toke this shit down."
"Lets do it suga." Beck said as she lit the joint. It was as big as Jasmines index finger. God she couldnt wait to take a hit. Beck puffed for what seemed like forever before handing Jasmine the joint and when she got it and started to puff there he was walking around the corner. Looking me dead in the eyes "Well hello there darling."
