"Jimin!" I screamed. He turned around and looked at me. But it seemed as if he was looking past me like I wasn't even there. He looked how he did when we first met. His eyes were red and spots of his skin were burning away like paper.
I ran to him but just as I reach him, he faded away. Everything zoomed out and Amber was still holding my hand.
"What was that?" I heard my voice. It was shaky. My hands felt my cheeks and they were wet with tears.
"A memory. Hoseok took it from Jimin's mind a long time ago."
"H-he killed them. Those innocent people..." I stuttered.
"That's not all," she whispered, "This is all I have left of Hoseok's powers. I can show you the rest but you don't have to."
One part of my mind told me it was better if I didn't know. The other part needed to know who I was dealing with.
I nodded slowly. She muttered an okay and closed her eyes again.
Jimin and Catherine were just walking through the woods. He had his arm around her shoulder as she held his hand. A clap of thunder came from the sky and they stared at each other with a concerned face.
Through the darkness as I watched Jimin slowly turn his head to face Catherine. There was no red glow in his eyes. His eyes were suddenly just completely black.
"Jimin?" Catherine's voice quivered. He suddenly took his hand and placed it around her neck, choking her helplessly.
"You dare anger the Gods?!" a dark voice erupted from Jimin but it wasn't his voice.
"I deserve him, not some weak mortal!" she screamed. Blue fire came out of his hand and surrounded her neck. "Rid of me now but I will find that mortal and-"
"Enough!"
The blue fire grew more vibrant and suddenly an ear-piercing scream came from Catherine. When the light went away, both of them were lying on the floor unconscious. Jimin shot up with a gasp. His head twisted left and right until he noticed Catherine's body.
A dark blue and black scar coated her neck. Jimin's face of realization turned into a face of emotional pain. Screams of 'no's' came out of his mouth as he begged her to wake up.
My surroundings faded away like a dream.
"She took away his humanity," Amber said as she slowly let go of my hands.
"You never told Jimin?" I could remember the amount of pain shown in his face. She shook her head slowly.
"If we did, he would probably go nuts trying to find her."
"What should I do?" I asked her. She took my hand and placed the photo in my palm.
"Make him forget her."
I slowly paced around the library that Stella had shown me around. It was enormous. Almost bigger than the one at the castle. The moonlight from outside shined into the large room as the sound of the rain was accompanied by loud thunder. The gods were angry. But over what?
I picked up a book that was in the fantasy genre. The sound of a door slamming echoed through the room. The book fell out of my hand. There was suddenly no sound or movement.
