Jungkook stared at the white snow on the ground, covered in red. He already knew it was blood which trailed up to the door of the castle. He entered the castle with caution, if there was one thing he knew about Catherine, it was that she would trick him and try to make him angry but he couldn't let her.

He didn't even know where Lotus or Scotty was. They had ran off as soon as he knew that she had killed Buddy. But he had the sneaking suspicion he knew where they were.

Suddenly, a revolting smell entered his senses, he coughed and covered the lower half of his face with his sleeve. He walked towards the kitchen, suddenly finding it difficult to move. His precious dragon was lying on the floor, dead and beheaded.

"It's good to see you again, Jungkook," a feminine voice pierced the air. She appeared from behind the dragon's body, holding his head. She brought the dragon's head up to face level, "How cruel could an owner be that he leaves his dragon behind as a distraction?"

"Let's just get this over with," he suggested eagerly. She sneered, suddenly tossing the head towards Jungkook. He quickly dodged the fast approaching object, it hit the wall behind him instead.

"I would really hate to kill such a handsome demon, I could almost say that you were more handsome than Jimin but-" she picked up one of the kitchen knives as she spoke, "In order to be the true, new, and improved Ultimate God, I need your heart, dear."

"Then come get it," he challenged. With the simple twitch of her fingers, he was thrown across the room and his back shattered against the bars of Lotus's cage. He gave out a shout of flaring pain, she dragged him towards her by his dragon tail until she towered over him.

She took the knife, pressing it against the suit he had worn for the picnic, where his heart beat under the skin. "What? No more threats? No last words?" she chuckled. He gently panted, still recovering from the previous hit against the cage.

"Duck."

His words put her on alert, but not fast enough. Scotty ran in, barking and growling. Without the blink of an eye, she turned around and kicked the dog. He whimpered as he hit the wall.

"Scotty! No!" Jungkook's eyes widened and screamed.

Lotus jumped, claws out and teeth bared, and tackled Catherine fiercely.

...Yoongi slowly walked up the stairs of the castle, contemplating his decision to have left Mae so soon. But he couldn't turn back now.

He opened the door, knowing the others weren't too far behind. If it was his destiny to die first, then so be it. Walking into the dining room, he saw blood pooling at the swinging door leading into the kitchen.

He teleported to the kitchen. Lotus had jumped on to Catherine, Jungkook was sitting against the wall, holding his the frozen dog closely. "H-Hyung," Jungkook sobbed. Suddenly Lotus let out a moan of pain. She fell to the side, stomach stabbed by the dagger Catherine had been holding. Catherine stood up, hair a mess, blood splattered up to her wrists and spots of red on her neck. Yoongi didn't notice it until he looked back down but Jungkook had passed out.
