Jimin was on the ground, shivering slightly. I spread my arms to place the blanket on him but before I could, he grasped my wrist.

"Did you know?" His jaw was clenched. He was angry. Yet I wasn't surprised since he had every right to be. "Nari, look at me," he demanded. His grip on my wrist tightened.

"I tried to tell you," I whispered. His hands were shaking, regardless of his firm grip on my wrist. He released me and hugged his knees.

I wrapped the blanket around him. He was so cold. There was no water on our bodies, except for the water that was already on the floor. But because of his power it must have affected him more than it did the others.

I sat next to him while looking out the window.

"I always knew she was dark magic. I never thought she was human even when I first met her. I admit she made me darker than I already was. I just chose to ignore it. The power was...addicting."

I listened closely to his confession. His tone turned aggravated.

"I never thought you were dumb enough to deal with dark magic though." He suddenly wrapped his arm around me, pulling me to him and wrapped half of the blanket around my body as well. "I thought princesses were supposed to be smart," he muttered like he was annoyed.

My eyes rounded a bit at the sudden action. He was slowly warming up. I looked at where his hand was placed and then looked at his face. It was so serious.

"I'm not that cold," I slowly pushed his hand away but he settled it firmly.

"But I am. Your body and this blanket are the only thing keeping me warm right now."

There was this awkward silence. For Jimin, he just seemed like he was thinking. I couldn't help but think too. Was he still angry? Did the offer still stand?

"Why did you save me? You could've taken her offer and gone back to your castle."

"I thought if I died, I could go home in my own heaven. But then again I did almost die." I shrugged lightly.

"But you didn't," my expression changed upon hearing those words. "You didn't die. Or leave. You didn't have to grab that key. But you did anyway."

"I'm a princess remember? If I die, my kingdom will have no one."

"Admit it. When you took that key you didn't even think about your royal life for a second. So why did you really choose to live?"

He placed his hand on my shoulder and the sudden stinging feeling gave away a great amount of pain. I winced and looked over my shoulder. My clothing was soaked in blood.

"You're bleeding," he realized quicker than I did. I lightly touched the wound and saw the blood on my fingers.

"Its fine," I insisted with a calm voice. I walked over to the bathroom and pushed my sleeve down. I held the open wound over the sink and splashed cold water on it. I cursed at myself for being such a baby about such a minor injury. I grabbed a towel, soaked it in cold water and hesitated to press the cloth over my cut.

A hand stole the cloth away from me. I looked over my shoulder and could see Jimin focused on the cut.

I reached over and immeidately tried to take the cloth out of his hand. He stretched his arm above his head which I could easily grab if I jumped, but the wound was slowly starting to hurt more and more.
