Horror Movies and Popcorn

Our lips are so close.

I can't do this. I shouldn't kiss him.

" We should get going." I whisper to him.

" No, we shouldn't."

" We should. Put me down. Please." I ask him. He looks away from my lips to my eyes and hesitantly puts me down.

" Next time those lips will be on mine princess." Alexander says as we start walking back.

" I am a queen remember ." I shoot back. He just smiles and says happily " so you accept your my queen and the kingdoms now?"

" I was born a queen baby. Just not yours."

When we walk into the house almost everyone is gone out or in their rooms.

Mason and Raven have already left. My parents went to another packs territory to talk about a negotiation. Jamie and David are also gone on a date to this new laser tag place out of town.

That means I am alone with Alexander basically. I can also just leave him by himself.

" Well, see ya." I say and run upstairs to my room. I am gonna shower and head downstairs. By that time my parents should be back with the others.

I quickly wash my hair and body and get dressed. I put on black ripped jeans with a graphic white tank top.

I hop in my bed with my laptop and put on a horror movie. I love who ever created horror movies. The part that sucks is that I sometimes have to watch it alone because almost everyone is too scared to watch it with me.

The movie even makes me scream and get scared to but once it is over the fear is gone because I know it is all fake. I hope.

I start watching the movie and decide that it is time for a snack. I am craving something buttery and with that I make my way down the steps happily.

I head down to grab a snack from the kitchen and see the popcorn bag is on the top shelf and my five foot six inches can't reach it. I stand on my tippy toes to try and grab it but I fail.

A tan hand grabs the popcorn and puts it down in front of me. I feel a body pressed up against mine.

" Thank you" I mumble out and turn around. Alexander is still literally two inches away from me and grinning.

" I believe you owe me now." He says. I roll my eyes and push past him to put the popcorn in the microwave.

" It's sad how today people are only nice for favors." I tell him as I set the timer on the microwave.

" Yeah, nice try to make me feel guilty. So about that favor. I want a kiss." He devilishly.

I didn't even ask him to get the stupid popcorn for me. What am I saying? The poor popcorn doesn't deserve to be called stupid.

" I didn't ask you to get the popcorn for me." I snap snap at him.

" Well, you still need to return the favor." Alexander replies back.

" No. I don't." I sassily say.

" Okay than. But I promise you this, I will get my kiss soon my little mate."

" I'm not little." I angrily say and glare at him.

" To me you are." He chuckles

" That's because your huge." I say and immediately realize my mistake.

" Oh, that I can promise you I am." He smirks at me. I saw that coming from a mile away.

The microwave beeping snapped me out of the murder plant that was being created in my head.
