Packing

After about an hour of splashing and trying to dunk each other beneath the water Alexander and I leave. Around the time we leave the sun is starting to set.

The sky is a beautiful orange with red staining it. The clouds are barely there and birds are chirping amongst themselves. It is so peaceful.

" That was the most fun I had in a long time Ava." Alexander says to me as he dries his hair with a white towel and smiles kindly at me.

" Me too Alexander." I reply back and smile too. This really was. Even though I barley got him under the water it was still fun.

I unwrap the towel around my body to dry my hair. As soon as I do a growl escapes Alexanders mouth. I forgot I have a very revealing and as many people say, sexy, bikini on.

I quickly wrap the towel back on my body and look up into Alexander obsidian eyes.

" The temptations are endless." He grumbles out frustrated. As he comes closer to me with lust filled in his eyes. I slowly back away as he comes closer.

" Oops." I say and giggle. Did I really just giggle? Ew

We then silently head inside and head to our rooms to change. I will just wash my hair tomorrow.

I slip into some cotton joggers and a plain black fitted tee. I walk out of my room and into my sisters baby pink one. She is in a tank and shorts with a messy bun piled up on top of her head as she is putting her stuff into brown cardboard boxes.

I can't believe she is already leaving the house. At least I can still hang out with her.

Her white bed is already made. The dressers that match are also white and usually covered with perfume and makeup are now empty and clear.

" You need any help?" I offer her but she just smiles and nods yes.

I help her pack her bathroom stuff and we start taking the boxes downstairs. Mason waits outside in the drive way with a black suburban and starts putting the boxes inside.

Raven turns around and looks at me as her eyes water. I quickly hug her tight.

" It's okay Raven, we are only an hours drive away and we can always see each other." I mumble as she sobs on my shoulder. This is all so brand new and weird for us to be apart, even If it is not that far or maybe not even for long but I am so used to our breakfast bickers and pool days here with the pack.

" I am going to miss waking you up with ice cold water and throwing you into the pool. I want to be the one that always does your makeup with you go out or scolds you to change and look human/wolf." She laughs out as she sniffles.

" You will. Also I am going to be coming too anyways. I am starting to be nice to Alexander." I whisper the last part very quietly into her ear.

" I just want you to be happy. Alexander isn't bad, he does what he needs to do to protect the kingdom and his family." She says as she pulls back.

The whole pack is outside standing behind us. Raven runs up to my parents and hugs them goodbye. My mom is sobbing but my dad is keeping it together. She hugs everyone in the pack goodbye and we all look at her with pride and joy.

" Raven if your pink loving ass doesn't come visit us every week I swear I'm gonna drag you by your hair." Jamie as to her as tears fall out of his eyes and he hugs her with all his power. David just stands there refusing to look away from the sky.

We always talked about how our mates would be when we grow up and now the day is here.

After a few more minutes of tears and goodbyes my sister and Mason pull out of the driveway.

I head back inside with my eyes filled with unshed tears. She may only be an hour away but not being able to wake up to your sisters beautiful smile or her dorky jokes makes my heart crack inside.

I walk into the living room to see Alexander standing there looking at me with a little smile on his face.

" You are going to see her everyday again very soon." He says and he walks up to me and hugs me.

" Don't ruin this. I am giving you one chance to prove me wrong about you being cold hearted." I say as I wrap my arms around his torso.

I feel at peace when I am hugging him. His body is giving me heat and I never want to let go.

He says nothing. Instead we just stand there in each other's embrace. Alexander kisses my head and I slowly pull back.

" Goodnight Alexander." I say as I start walking up the stairs.

" Goodnight my love." He smiles at me.
