Pancakes

I wake up to the sound of birds chirping outside and the warmth of the sunlight shining through my window hitting my face. A smile appears on my lips and I sigh in content.

That happiness doesn't last very long as yesterday's memories come crashing back at me.

Fight, kiss, bed. Oh no.

I clench my eyes shut and pray that when I turn around I won't see a certain brunette with the body of a Greek God. Slowly I peer my eyes open and turn my head very slowly to my left and I swear the biggest smile came on my face when all I see is just my sheets.

As I turn back around, I lay there for a little while more. After finally deciding that it's time to get my butt out of my warm, comfy, soft bed and to go and change and brush my teeth I literally roll out of bed.

I clean up and pull on some maroon campus pants and a plain black tee I head downstairs and the smell of chocolate chip pancakes fills my nose.

I quickly run down the steps while almost nearly breaking my neck along the way, I finally reach the kitchen and see a whole stack of heaven, also known as pancakes.

I grab a plate and immediately fill it with strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream with syrup of course on top.

" Well, good morning to you to babe." My happiness gets shattered by the voice of Alexander. Has he been here the whole time?

" Go away, I'm with the love of my life." I mumble to him as I shove the food in my mouth. I'm such a lady.

" So am I and right now she looks beautiful with her food stuffed in her mouth." The moment those words leave his mouth half the pancake hangs out of my mouth as I take in what he just implied.

He basically just said I'm the love of his life. Okay, who gave him the drugs?

" Uhh. I'm just gonna..." I don't even completely my sentence as I run out the kitchen and into the dining room.

The whole pack already seems to be there eating the food and laughing along with everyone.

I take my seat and greet my parents a good morning.

" Ava, today Raven is leaving to the castle with Mason. We think you should go to with Alexander." My mom says as she pours some coffee in her mug and the pancake piece that was heading to its family in my stomach falls out of my fork and on the plate.

Uh,what?

" Not today I'm not." I laugh out and continue eating my food. I hear footsteps approach me and I look to my left as Alexander pulls a seat next to me with his plate of food. Is it bad if I take some of his pancakes too?

" Oh yeah mom, nice job with the breakfast. I love it." I compliment her as I continue shoving my face with food like a squirrel does with it's food.

" Well, you shouldn't thank me. Thank Alexander, he made them all." My mom smiles at me and I slowly turn my head to my left again and give Alexander a questioning look.

" I'm glad you enjoy my cooking." He smirks at me and I smile do that sweet smile at him while killing him with the daggers shooting out of my glare.

I turn my head back and finish my food. I head into the kitchen and place my plate in the sink.

" Wanna head to the pool with us?" Asks Jamie as he walks in with David and also puts his plate in the sink.

The mention of the word 'pool' brings back the memory of the little incident I had with Raven and Alexander afterwards.

"Sure" I reply to them and go to change into my black bikini.

I gather my towel and get Jamie and David out of their rooms as we head downstairs and into the huge pool we have in our backyard next to the open field where we train.

I run and dive right into the pool as the nice cool water swallows my body whole. This is exactly what I need on a hot day.

Jamie comes running into the pool as he copies my actions and we splash water on each other. David pushes us both under the water and while under water Jamie and I grab each of Davids legs and pull him under as we come out laughing.

I am so caught up in the fun that I don't even notice an hour passed by.

" Ava, Jamie and I are gonna head out now because we have to go run some errands. Bye boo" David tells me as they get out of the pool and wrap towels around their waists.

" Bye loves." I replay to them and start swimming some laps.

I am about done with ten laps around the pool when big hands grab my waist and pull my under the water.

A gasp escapes my lips before water is above my head. I don't even have time to think about what is happening when I feel lips pressed against mine.

Alexander...

He pulls back and we both break the surface and breath in some air. When did he get in the pool?

" You can't just pull me under that water and kiss me. I could have had my lungs filled with water." I shout at him as he just stares at me with amusement.

After finishing my rant I start swimming laps again or at least tried to when water hits my back.

He did not just splash me. I turn around and get ready to attack him. Alexander chuckles and tried to get away but before he does I jump on his back.

He goes right under the water and I smile at my achievement. After coming back up he glares at me but his lips are forming a smile.

The water war is on.
