The clam breeze of the late night blows by us making my hair sway and trees move along as I walk the around the left side of the boarder as Alexander walks the right.

After my confession we have finally gone back to normal and even more so closer. I am happy that the huge weight and guilt that once was laying on my chest is finally lifted.

I walk with a small smile grimaced on my face when a loud snap catches my attention snapping me out of my day dreams.

My head snaps up and blood red eyes stare right into my now frightened gray ones and my whole body freezes in place. The eye contact doesn't last long as those red eyes disappear into the trees and bushes. I release a breath I didn't know I was holding for so long and run after who ever that was.

I sensed him going towards the old river further down the forest. The trees and leaves fly past me as I run and catch a sight of a mans shadow.

As I pick up my pace I catch up to the man but suddenly everything slows down.

The man turns around and his hood falls off my face and I see a scar that goes from his left eye to his chin diagonally and his red eyes even more illuminating in the moon light. He teeth are sharp and dripping in a unknown liquid as he growls at me and launches.

He jumps up in the air turning into a unoleasing shade of a greenish brown ready to claw right at me.

As if my senses just kicked in I feel the power surge through my veins as as my eyes blazed brightly and my senses heightened.

Before he can even touch my I round housed him by his neck and he went flying into a tree as it cracked at his impact.

I expected him to stay down for a while but he shot right back up and came even faster at me only accept this time before I can protect my self his long black claws scratched my side deeply breaking my skin and I hissed in pain as I scream ripped through my throat at the pain and I fell to the ground.

He stood above me ready to attack again but I kicked him only distracting him for a second before he took positions again. As he came at me I braced my help less self for impact but it never came.

I looked up and saw Alexander's standing there as he snapped the wolf's neck as if it were easy as taking a breath.

His eyes caught mine and they went from pure rage to something even darker as he rushed to my side.

" I'm here baby, your fine." His words soothed me and he bent down to pick my up but I whimpered at his touch and he looked at me confused until he felt liquid on his fingertips.

His hands were covered in red. I slowly smiled trying to make anything better as he realized the blood was mine and let out an earth shattering growl which was more his beast rather than him. The power of his roar caused a few trees to crack and one even break down.

Without a second thought I was back in his arms but this time didn't feel pain as he sped past the trees and to the pack house doctors.

As the breeze rushed pass us my eyes started getting more and more heavy until I couldn't pry them open.

" No, no, no, Ava please keep you eyes open my love. Come on, you can do it." Alexander's pleading only made my heart hurt at the fact I couldn't open my eyes.

" I'm sorry." Was all I remember whispering before my body gave out.
