I sat the phone down as the music started to play again. Wnc Whop's I Got Smoke filled my ears, occasionally interrupted by notifications.
I picked it up, seeing it was a text message from Desiré.
Desiré Aye We need to talk
Me: it was just a kiss, won't happen again. I have a gf, don't want you
I had to shut this situation down before it even got a chance to get started.
Desiré Okay I get it, just friends. So when you coming over again ?
Me:idk maybe sometime next week
Desiré Why the wait
Me:I'm spending time with my gf. She just got home, bye!
I heard the front door shut. "I'm in here!"I yelled to her.
I heard her footsteps as she came in the room with a big ass black box in her hands. She sat, patting her leg telling me to sit in her lap.
I sat on her lap giving her my undivided attention. "What's up mami?!"I say, twinkling my eyes as I pushed her hair behind her shoulders.
"I want you to know sum."
"To know what?"
"Stop fuckin' interruptin',"She started. "To know that I love you with everything in me. I like to believe that we gonna get married some day. I know some times I act like an ass but you know I'm fucked up inna head. I don't mean none of the mean shit I be saying. I just want you to know that no matter what happens inna future, we always gon' be together. Ain't no breakin' up, you mine fa'eva!"She grinned, making me smile. "I love you too,"I replied. We shared a kiss. "I bought you this."
She opened the black box revealing you most beautiful necklace I've ever seen.

"Oh gawd!"I said in awe. "It's beautiful!"
She put on my neck, clipping the back together. I couldn't stop staring down at it.
"Now what did you need to tell me?"She asked. Oh damn, think quick Mel! I couldn't tell her and ruin her happiness. She looked so into me. I couldn't bring myself to tell her the truth. The smile faded from my face but I quickly bought it back.
"How many kids do you want?"I covered it up, clutching the heart in my hand, running my fingers across the shiny diamonds.
She laughed. "How about we worry about that when the time comes. For now, let's just go to sleep. I'm tired,"
She patted my leg, telling me to get up. After she changed, we got in the bed. I scooted closer to her, she wrapped her arms around me. Cuddling, we fell asleep together.
Few days later Melanie POV
Today, Mille and I were leaving for Dubai. We planned a two day cruise there, two days in the island and two days on the cruise back.
"Issa lotta fun shit to do out hea. Enjoy ya'self."She told me, opening the door to our cruise suite. I followed her inside the suite, looking around. "This is beautiful."I say. There was a mirror on the ceiling, the walls were panted gold. The bed was in the corner, a floor to ceiling window on each side. The carpet was spray painted gold and the dresser hung into the wall. I dropped my Louis Vuitton bags on the bed, going to the what I think is the bathroom. It was spacious and gold, like the room. Candles were under the sinks waiting to be used.
"How much did you spend on this?"I asked, coming out of the restroom. "Two thousand for the cruise there and back and $500 for the island. "She replied. "I owe you,"I say, going to unbutton her shorts.
"Nah baby, that can wait. Let's go explore the ship."She stopped me. I nodded, smiling.
We left the suite, going to the deck. We looked out, watching the waters flow. "Find us a table while I go get some food."She told me, leaving before I could say anything back. I clutched my heart necklace, taking in my surroundings. I found the nearest empty table and sat down. "Hello,"Somebody greeted, I looked up.
"Uh, hi."I greeted back.
"Is this seat taken?"
"Actually yeah, my girlfriend should be back any minute now."
"Awh bummer, you gay. You look like you need real dick in your life."He chuckled, walking away. I rolled my eyes and pulled out my phone.
I had snaps from hella people, only snapping back a few. I took a picture of myself with the dog filter on and the sun kissing my skin tone. I glanced over it before saving it to my memories and sent it to Desiré. I looked up when I noticed a plate of exotic sweets, seeing Mille take a seat in front of me.
"What's this?"I asked. "Eat it and see,"She replied.
"You got your epipen and medicine?"She asked, I nodded. "I took my medicine already and it's in my purse."I responded. She shook her head as we continued to eat on the sweets.
"Remind me to stuff some of these containers in my purse on our last day."She giggled, eating the last piece. After that, we went to the gift shop. I bought a t-shirt for Charmaign and her son, Damien. By the time we left the gift shop, it was nine at night. Some people were staying on the deck to watch the stars but Mille and I had more important things to do.
As soon as we got in the room, clothes were off and we were doing it all over everything. By the time we were done, both of us were tired as fuck.
