Authoress POV
Today is a big day for the gay pair! Melanie and Kamille's wedding day. Today, everything is supposed to be perfect but it only seems as if things are falling apart.
Ka'Mille and Melanie haven't seen or talked to each other, due to them being in different hotels, getting ready for their big day. As of now, they are in the same building but different rooms.
Family members are trying to keep the two from running into each other. They both were running around the building, probably stalling.
"Is daddy here yet?"Melanie asked her mom, Meagan. "No, not yet bu-."Mom started but Mel interrupted her.
"I'm not walking the isle without him."Mel spoke as the hair stylist started to unravel the two braids in her hair.
"He's only thirty minutes away."Mom shushed her.
"Uh, mom!"Damien called for Charmaign, his mother.
"What baby?"She asked as she fixed the cuffs on his tux pants. "I lost the rings."He mumbled, causing the dressing room full of people to gasp. "Well find them!"Mel screamed, becoming frustrated. "Daddy's not here, Damien lost the rings..."Michelle said.
Mom eyed her, telling her to shut up.
Could this day get any worse?
For Kamille, things were definitely getting worse.
"Where's Day and Night? Are they here?"She asked as a different hair stylist brushed her hair down her back. "They should be here. I'll go check."Kaylyn replied, leaving Mille's dressing room.
"How are you feeling?"Tatiana asked.
"Fine, just a bit nervous."Mille replied truthfully. This was supposed to be the best day of her life. Instead, it was down right stressful.
"Their here. The people are just trying to polish Day's nails and get Night's clothes on."Kaylyn answered, coming back into her dressing room.
Mille nodded, closing her eyes as the artist applied her eye shadow. "Um, I know I'm supposed to work quietly but I think I heard Damien say he lost the rings."The hair stylist spoke. "How?"Mille asked.
The lady shrugged and got back to her work. Mille huffed, obviously annoyed.
At this time, Mille and Mel were getting dressed along with the bridesmaids. Time to get on down this isle.
First the audience was seated, then the bridesmaids and pastor took their places. Mille went down the isle by herself, doing a little dance a long the way which made the audience laugh. Night ran alongside her. She stood on her side of the alter with Night laying at her feet. The room got so quiet, everyone waiting on Melanie to come out after Abigail poured flowers all over the aisle.
Mille grinned, feeling butterflies in her stomach as she watched Mel walk down the aisle. Day was walking with her while her dad brought her to the alter.
Her dad sat down in his seat. Mille and Mel stared into each others eyes, taking in each others beauty.
Melanie POV
I tuned out most of the shit the officiant was saying. Mille and I were staring at each other, taking in her beauty. Despite the shit we went through in the past, our love for one another would never fade. I am so ready to marry this woman. When I tuned back in, Mille was saying her vows. "I thought love would make me vulnerable but with you, I feel invincible."She started but I got lost in her eyes again. Damn...!
I spoke my vows after hers but it felt like I was saying a bunch of gibberish.
"If anyone can show just cause why this couple can not be joined together in matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace."The officiant spoke, the room grew quiet. Pastor was about to say something else but this loud noise stopped him.
The doors of the church swung open, turning heads. Angel stood in a the door with an wannabe copy of my wedding dress on.
"I object!"She screeched, walking down my aisle.
"What the hell is she doing here?"I whispered to Mille as my face turned red under the make up. Mille shrugged, just as shocked as I was.
"Ka'Mille, listen! I want you to marry me, not this broad."Angel started, I rolled my eyes. Is this bitch insane?
"Somebody escort her out of here,"I say, calling for security. She was not about to carry on with this nonsense.
I'll get rid of her sooner or later. Once she was gone, we were able to continue.
"Without further adieu,"Pastor started.
"I do."I found myself saying as I smiled. "I do,"Mille smiled.
"The bride's may kiss."Pastor stepped back, giving us room.
"Don't get naked on that floor girls!"Michelle yelled, making everyone laugh. Mille pulled me in, giving me the best kiss of a lifetime. "We'll finish that later."I smirked, pulling away.
We signed the papers, then everybody headed to the reception which was on the other side of the church. People came up to congratulate us and eat.
This is a newer better life for both Mille and I. I never thought a person could give you everlasting love and actually mean it. Until I met her. Ka'Mille is and always was all mine. In the end, I didn't have to Pick A Side. I have who I've always really truly wanted, and that's all I could ever ask for.
Hopefully we have a good future ahead of ourselves.
