Kamille POV

I chuckled and hug up the phone call with Angel. She would be here in a few minutes and I honestly couldn't wait. We planned on binge watching The Flash and eating snacks, which she was going to stop at the store and get. The doorbell rang multiple times, I smiled and swung open the door.

My smile instantly faded when I saw who was standing on my porch... Melanie. Ugh!

"Oh, it's just you."I mumbled, rolling my eyes and trying to close the door. She stopped it with her foot.

"Can I talk to you for a second?"She asked. "No you can not."I replied.

"Just lemme say something to you..."

"What bruh! Make it quick 'cause I got company coming over."

"Can I come in first?"

"No, you can stand right here and say what you gotta say."I answered. "Stop being difficult ma and let me in. It's raining."She stuffed her hands in her pockets. I huffed and moved aside, going to the kitchen. "It's nice up in here."She says, rubbing her hands together.

"What did you have to tell me, since you wanna show up uninvited."

"I miss having you around."

"Bullshit."

"Mille baby, hear me out-."

"While I was home alone, you was laying up with other bitches."

"It was one bitch."

"Bullshit Mel and you know it. You must've forgot who you're fucking with."

"No I haven't. Lemme try to make it up. We can work this out."

"Nah fuck that! I thought we would be together forever, like you said. You chose a couple quick fucks over me, the one who loved you. I was rockin' with you from the jump and you let some bitch take what we had and break us up."I whined, clearly on the verge of tears.

"Don't cry, you know I hate seeing you cry. Especially when it's me who did wrong."She pulled me into her warm and welcoming embrace, letting me cry on her shoulder. I dried my eyes and backed away from her.

"Just get out, please. Just go."I uttered, turning away from her. "I broke up with Desiré and kicked her out of our house. The house we were going to build a family in. We're going raise our baby in that house. Remember?"She said. I small smiled but quickly hid it with a straight face. "Well when you put it like that..."I walked back over to her. "I kind've do have baby fever. I can't lie, I miss and love you too. But before we even think about our marriage and family, I need my best friend back before I get my girlfriend, okay?"I responded, she nodded.

"You have all of me."She replied. "Okay but I have company coming over so can you go."I pulled her to the front door. "A'ight, call me tomorrow beautiful."She smiled, kissing my forehead, hugging me and left.

When she did leave and Angel showed up, things were kind've awkward between us two. I was stuck thinking about Mel and she was just quiet. "Is something wrong?"I asked. "No it's just that um. I saw somebody leaving your house. I was wondering who."She told me.

"That was my ex you saw leaving."

"Oh, what was she doing here?"

"Nothing. She came to see Day and Night."I lied.

"Oh. Well since Day is no longer hers, can she be mine since me and you talkin'?"She asked. Since when were Angel and I talking? As far as I know, she was just something to pass time. And no bitch, you can't have Day. I bought her for Mel and Mel only.

"I'd have to think about that one,"I chuckled watching as she went to pick Day up. Day growled turning her nose up at Angel. Angel backed away, sitting back on the couch.

"I guess she doesn't like me because she don't know me. She just has to get used to me being around."Angel said as she shook off what just happened. I put the dogs away and sat down.

"Yeah I guess so,"I mumbled. "What do you mean you guess so? Is something going on?"She asked.

"Uhh...Mel didn't come over for her visitation rights with the dogs."I came clean.

"What she come over for then?"she questioned, growing tense.

"To try to get me back."

"For what?"

"She loves me and to be honest, I love her too. She's all I know, I'm not going to start over with someone else."

"What are you saying?"she asked, choking on her words. She was obviously about to cry, damn!

"Her and I have too much history to just walk away. I'm going to try to work things out with her."

"You fucked up!"She said, grabbing her purse. She stormed out of the house, slamming the front door. I know she's pissed, but there's nothing I can do about it now.

I sighed and grabbed my phone, going to face time Melanie. Was this the right thing to do ?
