Chapter 2

Jinyoung's POV

Before the class starts, It's my hobby to stay at the garden area of the university. I was just there sitting, breathing fresh air and waiting until it's about time for my first class. I was about to go to the room when a random guy talked to me.

"Uhmmm... hi" he said

I felt really shy. I don't know what to say. I don't know why I kept staring at him.

"Can I ask for your help?" he asked.

"Uhmmm... I am new here. I can't seem to find this room. Can you tell me where this is, please?" he added

I don't really know how to say. It's like my lips are zipped right now. I just walked towards the room he was telling to signal him that it's that way. Luckil, we have the same room so it's not that much of a deal.

"Hey! Where are you going?" I asked.

He was about to talked to another person. Maybe he didn't get what I was trying to do.

"Are you coming or what?" I was a bit shocked my self that I shouted a bit. Others are staring at me and even to the guy. I feel sorry for him. Someone might bully him because of what I just did.

"I-I'm sorry. I thought you wouldn't help." Woah! He was cute. W-what? What are you talking about Jinyoung?

I signalled him to come to my direction so he ran a bit to catch up. I felt sorry for what I di that's why I don't know what to say to him. I just entered the room and sat next to my bestfriend.

"Hey where have you been?" Jihoon asked.

"The usual" I replied.

The guy went near me, I felt a bit tensed with his presence. I don't even know why.

"Uhmmm. Thank you for the help...Uhmmm.." he seemed to be asking for my name

"Jinyoung" I said in a soft voice

"Oh! Thank you Jinyoung. I'm Daehwi by the way." He bowed and left to find a seat

He wasn't able to find a seat at the back or in the middle part so he ended sitting near me. Our eyes met. He smiled at me. I was completely shock. Why am I feeling this.

"Hey bro! What's with that smile?" Jihoon teased me

"Nothing! I just remembered something." I told him

"I'm pretty sure there's something" he kepy on teasing me.

"There's nothing! BTW, remember Guanlin? He went to our house with his mom last weekend. We talked a bit. I accidentally showed the photoalbum you gave me when we were in 5th grade and he requested to have one of you pictures." I laughed to make him stop.

"W-what?" his face turned red. He stared blankly into thin air. His face is really funny tho. It's like he has seen a ghost or something.Okay! I won this round.

I kept on being distracted by Daehwi. Everytime that I face his direction. I can't stop looking at him and seeing what he was doing right now. I think I ended up staring at him for the who discussion.

It's lunch time and I was about to invite Daehwi since he was new. But he suddenly disappeared. I decided to go with Jihoon

While walking to the cafeteria, I decided to fool my bestfriend again.

"Hey! Look! It's Guanlin!" I told Jihoon

"What? Where?" He started panicing and fixing his hair

"Don't be too obvious dude! Chill!" I started laughing again

"I'm satring to hate you right now, you know that?"

As we arrived in the cafeteria, the first person I noticed again was Daehwi. It's like he's having a hard time choosing what to eat. After he ordered something.

As usual, Jihoon keeps on telling stories about Guanlin the whole time. I was really bored that's why I just kept looking at what Daehwi is doing. Our eyes met once again. He was about to walk to the table I was in but suddenly turned and decided to sit at the staircase.

I felt bad for him. He looks so fragile and it makes me want to take care of him. He was looking satisfied while eating sausage and rice. He's cute tho.

After a while, Guanlin was running with his friends near the staircase. He purposely hit Daehwi and Daehwi's tray fell on the ground, splattering his food all over the floor.

"I'm sorry, nerd! Hahahahaha" Guanlin went pass him and laughed with his friends.

I can see that he was about to cry. He started looking at his wallet. I don't know what he was looking for. He searched every corner of his wallet but the surrendered and placed it in his wallet again. Maybe he doesn't have any money already? Is he a scholar? Maybe his family is not on the rich side. I saw him pout and sighed. He just left the cafeteria. I followed where he was going and saw him entering the library.

"Hey dude!" I told Jihoon.

"Are you even listening? I've been talking to you for a long time and all you have to say is "Hey dude!"?" he said

"I'll just buy something. You can go to the room first. Or if you want..." I pointed at Guanlin.

Jihoon looked at where I pointed and I saw Guanlin winked at Jihoon. My poor bestfriend suddenly turned red again and started running as fast as he can going back to our room.

I went to the food stalls and decided to buy a chicken meal.
After buying, I went straight to the library. Luckily, he was not in his table. I only saw his bag there. I placed the food at the top of the table. I wrote a short message for him to know that this was really for him. I ran as fast as I could to the room so that he wouldn't know that I did that. I was really shy.

It was almost time and Daehwi is still not in the room. I was a bit worried again. He my be lost again or something. But then, after a few more minutes, he entered the room. He has the biggest smile that I ever saw in im the whole day. I looked at what he was holding, and saw the sticky note that I wrote.

He kept on staring at the sticky note until the professor arrived, But when the professor arrived, he placed a kiss on the letter and kept in in the pocket on his chest area.

A smile on my face was shown again and I can't help to do it. The simple action he did made my day lighter.
