Chapter 19

Jihoon's POV

Guanlin and I went to the crane machine. He failed in getting the plushie a lot of times. It was cute though. Everytime the plushie would fall, he will rant like a little kid who lost his precious toy. I felt a bit frustrated but enjoyed looking a Guanlin the same time.

"Excuse me?" I heard someone calling me

"Yes?" I asked him

"Here. Take this." He handed me a pink bunny plushie.

He looked familiar it seems like I've met this person before but I can't really remember how and when.

"Oh! No need! My friend is going to get it for me" I said.

I introduced Guanlin as my friend. He might get shocked if I told him that Guanlin is my boyfriend. I looked at Guanlin and gave him a smile but he looked away quickly. Maybe he is eally determined in getting the plushie for me.

"I'm sure your friend won't mind if you take this." The guy told me. Forcing me to take the plushie

Suddenly I remembered him. He was Samuel. The guy that I gave a tour around the campus a few weeks ago

"W-wait! You're Samuel, right?" I asked him

"Yeah! I'm glad you remembered. I was the one your toured last time in school. I thought you forgot about me." He told me. I felt a bit embarrased of what I did. I totally forgot the face and name of a new friend that I had

"I'm sorry about that" I apologized.

We were chatting a bit then Guanlin suddenly plled me aay from Samuel.

"I got one. We have to go." he told me

"Oh! B-bye Samuel! See you in school" I gave Samuel a wave

"Y-yeah! See you! Nice bumping into you." Samuel said.

After playing in the arcade, we decided to go eat lunch.

"Where will we eat?" I asked him

"Panwink Buffet" he replied coldly

"I'm excited for the rest of the day" I told him with so much energy

"Yeah" he replied again coldly.

"Oh! Okay!" I was silent after that. I don't know what to say. He's not in the mood. Maybe I am boring. He might not like being with me anymore.

We arrived in the restaurant after a few minutes.

We were eating silently. I even lost my appetite. I only had two rounds in the buffet. There are times where I would start a conversation but he will reply with a simple "yes", "no" or "okay". Maybe it's good for us to stop this dsate. He shouldn't spend for a boring person like me.

"Uhmmm. Guanlin?" I tried to talk to him

"Hmm?" he asked

"Are you bored being with me?" I asked him

"N-no!" he stuttered a bit

I gave him a fake smile. I was broken inside.

"Please be honest. I won't get mad. Can I ask a favor?" I asked him

"N-no! Really! You're not b-boring! What do you need?" he asked me

"Can we go home after this? I'm really sorry but I think you should waste that much money for a person like me. I'm so sorry for not being able to reach you expectation. Please give me some time to improve myself. Can I?" I told him

"Wh-what do you m-mean?" he asked. I could feel nervousness and fear from his gestures.

"Maybe we need a little space. For you to think if you really like me and for me to improve myself and be worthy of all your efforts." I told him. I can feel tears almost falling.

"N-no! Please don't." he told me

"Let's go now. Let's talk in your house or my house if its okay to you" I told him.

"Baby, please! Please don't do this? I'm begging you." He said

"I don't know Guanlin. I'm really confused right now. You don't realy look happy with my company." I told him"

"It's now that!" he shouted a bit

"Then why? It really hurts when you ignore me. Don't you know that?" I told him. A tear finally fell from my eye.

He stood up and wiped my tear.

"Baby, listen. It's not like that! I was just..." he stopped

"Just what?" I asked him

"Jealous" he told me

"What? Jealous of what?" I asked him

"Well, first, you imtroduced me to your friend that I'm just your friend." He told me.

"I'm sorry. It's just that he might get shockedif I introduce you as my boyfriend." I told him. I felt guilty with what I did.I really did hurt him

"Second, you seem to enjoy his company." He said

"Of course I do! He's my friend. I really like his personality. He's just myfriend don't worry. What else?" I asked him

"Well, lastly, he obviously likes you." He said. I almost laughed with what hesaid

"What!? No! He's just a new friend who I happen to help with the tour in ourschool." I told him

"I;m 100% sure that he likes you." He said with confidence.

"How can you say then?" I asked him

"Because the way he looks at you, the way he talks to you and the way he smilesat you is what I was doing fo these past few years. I'm prett sure that helikes you because, those were the things that I was doing before whenever youare around."

I suddenly felt me cheeks turning red. Everything that Guanlin just said made myheartbeat pump fast. I was moved with what he said.
