Chapter 15

Jinyoung's POV

During classes, I could see that there's something wrong with Daehwi. I can't even concentrate with everything. Everything that our professor says just pass through my ears. My eyes, ears and thoughts are only focused on Daehwi.

I could see sadnrss in his eyes everytime our eyes meet. I can see the sadness in his voice when he talks to someone and I can see the first time when I met Daehwi, the silent, and shy kind of Daehwi. I'm starting to miss the times when we are together.

I was thinking of approaching him, but his request keeps on running and running throught my mind. I was my fault. I was the one who has done something wrong. I hurt him. I made him feel this way.

I kept on silently following Daehwi until lunchtime.

At first, I saw him alone. I kept on staring at him. I badly wanted to hug him. I want to accompany him. I can't stand seeing him like that.

After a while, Seonho came and sat beside him.

I became furious. I don't want to see them together. Daehwi glanced at where I am seated. I can't help tears from falling. I want to be with him so bad.

I ran as fast as I can to where the comfort room is located. Luckily, no one was there. I went inside a cubicle and cried. Tears kept falling.

I heard someone entering the comfort room. I forced myself to stop crying and wiped the tears from my face. I went out the cubicle and saw Daniel hyung and Seongwoo hyung. They're the most popular couple in this school. They're the first couple who admitted their relationship in this all boys school.

"Hey Jinyoung! Is everything okay?" Daniel hyung said

"N-not really. Can I ask you something? I think the two of you are the only who who can understand me right now." I told them

"Of course you can" Daniel hyung said

"Well, I've been liking someone but I don't want everybody to know since. You know, he's a..." I stopped talking

"..a guy?" Seongwoo hyung said

"Y-yeah! He's a guy."

"Is he the new guy you are always with these past few days? Everybody's talking about the both of you" Daniel hyung said

"Y-yes." I answered him

"So what's the main problem?" Seongwoo hyung asked me

"Well, last night, we were at his friend's house..."

Seongwoo hyung interupted what I'm saying. He's known for his jolly and funny attitude

"...he already have a boyfriend!?" Seongwoo hyung said

"N-no! But I think that guy likes him too. His friend and I had an argument about not calling Daehwi, "baby". He kept calling him that. He suddenly asked me if I like Daehwi or not." I told them

"What did you say then? Daniel hyung asked

"I was shocked. I wasn't prepared. I told him that I like him like a brother." I told them

"What's his reaction?" Daniel hyung said

"He turned silent the while night after that. Then when we were about to get home. He started crying and confessed that he liked me too." I told them. A tear fell from my eye once again.

"So what's the problem then?"

"I still haven't told him the truth yet. He asked me to stop seeing him. He told me not to talk to him in school, or anywhere else." I told them

"There's only one thing that you can do." Seongwoo said

"What is it?"

"Like what Daniel did. He told me the truth. We're on the same page here Jinyoung. Don't lose him. He's a great catch! I've known Daehwi since he was a kid. I know that he has a good heart." Seongwoo hyung said.

"R-really? How did you know him?" I asked him

"I also came from a poor family. I've seen him grow. I don't know if he still recognize me. I left our neighborhood when I was 10 years old. Daehwi was about 7 or 8 years old by then. He was the baby of our town." Seongwoo hyung said

"Thanks to the both of you. I'll think hard on how to do that. I have to go now." I told them.

Before I left, I heard the trashbin falling down outside the comfort room. I looked outside, no ne was there, it seems like, that person ran. I looked back at where the hyungs are. I waved them goodbye.

My mind is on deep thoughts the whole day. After class, I decided to go to the bubble tea house where in Daehwi works.

We went inside and saw Daehwi on the counter.

"H-hey!" I shyly greeted him

"Hi Jinyoung. What can I do for you?"

"O-one double choco wih extra bubble."

"That's $8"

I gave him $20 and told him take the change as a tip. He thanked me and told me to have a seat and wait for my drink.

I sat down at the table nearest to the counter. I was staring at Daehwi the whole time.

He went to where I was and gave me my drink.

"Enjoy you drink! Call me if you need something."

He was about to go back to the counter

"I-I need you!" I told him

"Wait til closing. Let's talk later."

I was seated there for almost an hour. It's 3 more hours before closing time. I decided to sleep first.

After a while, someone patted me.

"Wake up Jinyoung!"

It was Daehwi's sweet voice. I thought I was dreaming. I pinched my arm to makesure if I was awake.

"D-daehwi!" a tear fell from my eye.

"I'm sorry!" tears lkept flowing in my eyes. Luckily, no one was aroundanymore.

He stood up and came closer to me. He tip toed a bit to reach my eyes. He wipedthe tears from my eyes.

"I'm so sorry Daehwi! I was wrong! I need you! I'm sorry for being coward! I'msorry for not telling the truth! I'm sorry bacause you suffered because of me.I wan you back Daehwi! I need you! I like you.. no! I love you!" words keptcoming out of my mouth. I don't care about anything anymore! I just wantDaehwi. I don't want to lose him again.
