Chapter 5

Jihoon's POV

After classes, I told Jinyoung that I'll be in the cafeteria to eat. I went there alone since he doesn't want to go with me.

After ordering a meal, I sat on our usual spot. Before having my first bite, someone called me.

"Jihoonie~" he shouted

I looked around and saw Guanlin waving at me. I had mixed emotions. I was shocked, embarassed and I was even blushing so hard.

I've been awkward around him ever since he knew that I liked him. He used to bully Jinyoung when they were young. I was the one who keeps on saving Jinyoung whenever he does that. I hated him ever since. Everything changed after one incidence.

**THROWBACK**

During my 16th birthday. I only invited Jinyoung to celebrate with me. He overheard my invitation when I told Jinyoung in school. We decided to meet a the park near our house.

After ariving at the park. I texted Jinyoung. Unortunately, he had a family emergency that's why he couldn't come. My parents are not around,. They were in the US when that happened. I was all alone in my birthday.

I bought a huge cotton candy and ate it by myself in the park.

After a few minutes. Someone gave me a paperbag. I looked at the person and saw Guanlin.

"Happy birthday Jihoonie~" It was the first time that he called my name. HE even gave me a nickname.

"T-thank you! Why are you here?" I accepted his gift

"I just want to celebrate with you. Is it okay?" he said

"Of course! Thank you!"

I celebrated the rest of my birthday with him. He even decided to sleep over at my place. We shared the same bed and hugged me as we sleep.

That was the time where I started having butterflies in my stomach whenever he is around.

I was open to Jinyoung. I tell him everything. This little rascal unfortunately told it to Guanlin one day.

Guanlin seemed so shocked. I haven't talked with him for almost a month.

He approached me first and gave me another gift.

"What is this for?" I asked him

"Nothing. I just saw it in the mall and I reminded me of you." He said

I opend the bag and saw a bunny plushie.

"T-thanks! I have to go now, take care!" I told him

"Take care!" he hugged me after

I was dumbfounded. I didn't know what to do. I rushed ooutside after he release the hug.

"Hi Guanlin" I said

"So... Jinyoung told me that you were looking for me? You miss that bad?" he laughed after saying that

"W-what? No! I wasn;t looking for you. He just tricked you again."

"Okay fine! I'm here so let's be together?"

I hope you could ask me to be "literally" together.

"Oh! Okay! Want a bite?" I offered him my food.

"I might bite you instead! Hahahaha"

I just laughed too to remove the awkwardness

"Do you know the guy Jinyoung is always looking at?" he asked

"I don't remember his name but I know that he is a new student here." I told him

"He looks cute, right?" he said. I was kind of hurt after he told that.

"Oh! Yeah!" I said it in a soft voice.

"Don't worry. I don't like him babe. I think Jinyoung likes him. Like the way he looks at him, the way he talks to him and the way he smiles when that guy does something silly."

I blushed when I heard him calling me babe. It wasn't the first time tho. He always want to tease me with endearments. I surely wish that he makes it true one day.

"Heyyyy" he said

"What?"

"I have a question." I was a bit nervous after he said that

"Do you still like me?" he added

I was shocked. I don't know what to say.

"Do you want to have a date or something?" he asked me

I was still silent.

"I'll take that as a yes. I'll come pick you up at 8pm later."

He went near me and whispered something to my ear

"I've been looking forward to this for a long time"

He gave me a quick peck on the cheek and left with a smirk on his face.
