Chapter 24

Daehwi's POV

I woke up with a message from Jinyoung.

"Good morning sweetheart! I'll be walking you to school later. Get prepared already you sleepy head! See you in a bit. I missed you so much. I love you baby!"

I quickly got up and took a shower. After wearing my uniform I went down to prepared my breakfast.

As I arrived downstairs, my aunt was there.

"Oh! Hi auntie! I didn't know you were here."

"Good morning sweetheart, I asked Madame Park if I can go home today. I kinda miss you."

"Kinda?" I gave her a pout

"Fine! I miss you a lot! Come here! Give me a hug!" she said

I went near her and gave her a big, tight hug.

"I missed you so much auntie! I'll try to ask Jihoon if I can go visit you at their place."

"Your friends with him?" she asked me

"Yeah! It's quite a long story on how we became friends. Hahaha."

"Fine! Come on! Eat your breakfast."

"Thank you auntie! I missed your cooking so much! I sometimes eat just ramen for a couple of days straight!"

"Awww. Poor Daedae! Don't worry. Everytime you go visit young master's house, I'll give you some of my cooking. I'm sure it's fine with him, right?"

"I guess so! Jihoon is really nice."

"Well, it is because I'm the one who raised him, right?"

"Of course! Just like me, Jihoon was raised by a loving, caring and did I forget to mention gourgeous woman in the world!"

"Hahahaha. Stop that now and eat your breakfast! You'll be late for school"

After a few minutes of eating, I finally finished my meal. Me and I autie are telling stories to each other. The last time I saw her was like a month ago, so we have a lot of things to catch up. Then, someone suddenly knock on the door.

"Oh! I almost forgot! A friend of mine will come pick me up. We'll go to school together. I'll just open the door for him."

I rushed to open the door.

"Hi babe!" I quickly covered his mouth.

"Hi babe! Please keep quiet my aunt is in the house today"

He looked a bit shocked but just agreed to what I said. I accompanied him inside and introduced him to my aunt.

"Auntie! This is Jinyoung, my friend." I looked at Jinyoung and he seemed disappointed with what I said.

I felt bad for doing that. But I'm not sure if my aunt will be in favor in the relationship that we have.

"Hello Auntie! You're the one working for Jihoon's family, right?"

"Oh! Yes I am. You're young master's friend, right?"

"Yes maam." Jinyoung said

"I knew it. You seemed familiar. Enough with calling me "maam", just call me "auntie" that's enough."

"Oh! Okay auntie! I really enjoy your dishes when I come and eat at Jihoon's place. Daehwi is so lucky to taste your dishes a lot of times."

"He surely is! You boys need to go to school now. You might be late."

"Uhmmm. I-I'll just pick up my bag in my room"

I went up to my room ang quickly and went out to leave with Jinyoung. As I was approaching them, my auntie suddenly said

"Don't forget what I told you darling, okay?"

"Of course auntie! We'll get going now. Please tell me if you'll go here again. I want to eat more of your dishes"

"I guess you are now my biggest fan, aye?"

"Yes I am!" They both shared laughs

Jinyoung and I walked to school together.

"C-can I hold your hand now?" he suddenly asked me

"I-I'm sorry. I-I'm not really ready to tell it to her"

"It's okay baby! I understand. Can I now hold your hand?"

He suddenly grabbed my hand and we walked in a comfortable silence.

"Daehwi?" someone from our back approached me

"D-Donghyun? Wow! Long time no see!" I grabbed him into a hug

"Nice to see you again Daehwi! It's really been a long time! How are you?"

"I'm good! You?"

"I good too. I didn't know that you go to this school too! How can a poor guy like us go to a prestigious school! Hahaha"

"I know right? Are you a scholar too?"

"Of course I am! You know that my family can't afford to send me in this school!"

"Yeah! I thought so too. By the way, this is Jinyoung! Jinyoung, this is Donghyun. Remember Hyungseob?"

"Y-yeah! The one we met before?"

"Yup! The three of us were always together in kindergarten."

"Oh! Nice to meet you, Donghyun!"

"Nice to meet you too!" they bowed at each other

"Can I join you two in walking to school?"

"Of course you can!" I told him

Donghyun and I started talking with each other. Of course I include Jinyoung in our conversation but he seems to be not in the mood.

"I think we have a different building. I have to go now! See you around, okay? By the way, give me your number," I handed him my phone.

"Put it here, I'll send you a message" he grabbed my phone, entered his number then called it to save my number in his phone.

"See you around nae agi ~"

"Yah! Hyung!!! We're not kids anymore!" I demanded him

"I know! But I missed your cute whinning! Bye agi agi~ Bye Jinyoung-ssi!"

I held Jinyoung's hand again but he removed it.

"W-why baby?"

"You seemed to enjoy his company and forgot about me, huh?" this is the first time that I've seen him like this. His eyes are glaring at me. It's scary.

"S-sorry. I didn't mean to. It's just that we haven't met for a long time and I used to be with him every single day.

"Fine! Then be with him! Don't mind me. Maybe if we don't see each other for a long time, you would long for me too." He suddenly left me in the hallway.

This is the first time that I'm seeing Jinyoung like this. I didn't expect that Jinyoung could be like this. I'm scared right now, but at the same time, felt guilty of what I did to hurt Jinyoung.

Some of you are asking whether the story is about to end already.
Answer: I have a plan of giving this story more or less 40 chapters. I still have a lot of ideas in mind. PLUS! I haven't added any "conflicts" yet. So better watch out for that.
