**I meant to post this at like 9 in the morning but I got super distracted by gay GIFs.... Whoever came up with GIFs is my favorite person in the entire universe. :)**

**I have been impatiently waiting to post this chapter you guys, seriously.**

I park at a grocery store called, Pete's Market, after discussing what kinds of food Micah would like, to which he told me he isn't picky after seeing what the rest of the world eats first hand. We walk into the building and get blasted by the air conditioner right away, which is a nice feeling when coming in from the blazing sun outside.

"Okay, I don't know where they get them and what they do to them, but this place has the best produce in all of Minneapolis, at least of what I've tried, plus, the produce doesn't spoil as quickly as other store's produce does. The meat and fish are always fresh and you can order ahead of time to get the size, weight, and even shape cut to how you prefer. They also have a good selection of organic foods if you want to go green," I inform as I grab a cart and wait for him to decide what he wants first.

"Oh, I have a list," He says as he pulls out his wallet and then a folded-up piece of paper. "Okay, so dairy and eggs should be last, so let's look at the dry things first,"

I nod my head in agreement. "So, what dry ingredients do you have on your list?"

"Flour, sugar, salt and pepper, I don't really have much since I just moved in," Micah informs.

I nod my head and look at the signs hanging above each aisle before pushing the cart to the right aisle. As we shop I really feel like a couple. Couples shop together all the time and I can't help but just smile and be happy. I even recommended a few things since it has been so long since he has had to shop for himself. I even bought myself a package of Oreo's since they were calling my name, I swear they were. They were saying, 'Jonah, Jonah! Buy us, we want you to eat us, Jonah! We're so tasty and good just for you, Jonah!', true story.

Once we get checked out and everything packed away in the bed of the truck and put the top down, I drive Micah home. We had a good time laughing and joking while we shopped, and it sadly only took us three in a half hours to get everything he needed.

We then grab all the groceries, which took us three trips to get it all, and then I help him put everything away. Micah insisted that I didn't have to help put everything away, but then I just insisted that I wanted to help, and really, I do want to help. After putting all the groceries away, we both fall onto the small couch in the living room, exhausted from the long morning we had.

I don't mind the silence as we both sit there with our eyes closed, just resting for a moment. That is until Human grunts and jumps up on the couch and rests his head on Micah's lap, his eyes glaring at me as he huffs.

Micah chuckles. "I think he is jealous of you,"

"Me?" I ask shocked. "What's there to be jealous about?"

"It's been the two of us for about a month now, and then you suddenly showed up and now he's not getting all the attention, plus, you left the house with me when he couldn't,"

I roll my eyes and snort. "Human, are you jealous?" I ask as I look him in the eye.

Human glares at me and huffs again before looking up at Micah who chuckles and pets the top of his head. "I think you are jealous, Human," The dog only plops his head onto Micah's chest and huffs again, his cheeks puffing out with the action.
