Chapter Fifteen

July had come faster than we expected. It was time to pack everything up, and head to West Virginia. We had a few last minute things before the wedding, so we would be super busy. Sam had to go drive down to his house to pick up his buddies, and while he was gone. Bella and I were going to go hang out with the girls. Sam’s friends were wolves, but I met them before they were all very nice.

Bella fell asleep I decided to sit down with my mom about the sitting arrangements and the list of people who were coming. “We have three hundred people?” I looked at my mom a bit worried. “That’s way too many; we cannot afford food for all these people plus an open bar!” She didn’t change her expression “Sam’s parents are helping too and they invited about hundred more people than you and Sam invited.” I nodded.

Oh, they had to invite the other wolves from the state I thought to myself quietly. “I think we should have a college table, for Robert, Steven, Beck, Amanda and everyone else.” She nodded as we wrote down names at tables. My bride’s maids were Heather, Stephanie, Danielle and Angelica. Sam’s groom’s men were Tim from college, Jim; a good friend from high school, and two wolves I think their names were Collin and Will; I met the last time we were here.

Finally all the seating is all planned; now in just two days a wedding was going to happen. I was so excited; the alterations to everyone’s outfits were done. All the vendors were ready to go just had to wait now. Sam and I spent our last day together watching movies like we did in college, then it was time for our bachelor and bachelorette parties. We wouldn’t see each other until it was time for me to walk down the aisle. “You did write your vows right?” I raised my eye brow with a little smirk on my face, teasing him. “I did that a couple months ago, don’t worry. I am wondering if you wrote yours.” I blush, he knew me too well. I had written a few things but not a whole entire vow. “You’ll finish it, I know you will.” He was laughing at me, ugh; how did I forget to not finish my vows! This was the last night we’d sleep together before we got married, so I enjoyed every bit of it.

The next day went absolutely slow, and Sam was getting ready for his night out. I just sat around in my pajamas and messy hair. He kissed me before the guys picked him up to take him for the night. “I love you, I’ll see you tomorrow Mrs. Pierce.” I couldn’t help but plaster a smile on my face “I love you too Mr. Pierce, don’t have too much fun.” winking at him as he walked out the door.

After Sam was gone, I went up to my room while Bella lay on the bed drawing once again. I tried to write vows; I had taken notes on a few things but nothing came to my mind. I fell asleep at my desk, when I heard pounding on the door. I was still in a daze, I heard the girls yelling for me “Olivia!” that was Angelica, “You better come down!” that was Heather, “It’s your last night before you’re married” now that was Stephanie, and then I heard Danielle “Your mom gave us a key, so you better open up!” I couldn’t help but laugh, they were so goofy.

I walk downstairs to open the door. They all stood there in nice dresses, with decorations for a bachelorette party. My mom came home while the girls were getting me ready; doing my hair, painting my nails and putting on my makeup. I had some of the best friends anyone could ever ask for. “You look beautiful honey” I heard her say very quietly. “Thank you mom” She turned to walk out of the room “Mom…” She turned back around “Yeah honey?” I got very silent, “Do you mind fixing these curls? They will fall out in an hour if you don’t do something to them.” She laughs slightly and helps the girls.

I was done being a canvas for my friends and mother. Looking into the mirror I see someone beautiful. A long white dress, very simple; my hair was pinned up with curls falling down. A tiny veil was placed on my head, I had to laugh a bit – I looked silly. After a few photos with everyone, we headed to the bar where Sam wouldn’t find us.

“Can I call Sam?” the girls whipped their heads to me “No!” they all shouted. Then we began to laugh. We were at the bar but it looked dead. Only a few cars were parked in front of the building, and it was dead quiet out. It freaked me out a bit until all the girls were dragging me out of the car. “Come on, let’s go Olivia” jumping out of the car we walk towards the entrance. All the lights were off, “I think its closed guys.” They didn’t respond to me but pushed me into the open door when all the lights were turned on, and music was blaring. “SURPRISE!” people from high school, some people going to the wedding, and the people who were invited to the party by others were all shouting to me.

Jumping in surprise, I about cried. All these people were here for me and my party. I turn to hug all my friends and they all laughed at how shocked I was. Everyone came up to me with compliments, and congratulations. It was very kind of them all to do this, very considerate. The party got crazy when some guys came in cliché cop uniforms. I joined in on cheering for them as they came near me. My friends were going to get payback for this, I swear. Once the ‘cops’ left, the party started to mellow out and started to die down. I was beyond tired, and ready to go home. Tomorrow was my wedding day, I was about to marry Sam – I’ve waited for this day for a very long time.

The girls were too wasted to drive, so I decided to drive home and they crashed at my mom’s house.  I stayed up all night watching black and white movies; I couldn’t sleep with all the excitement and anxiety going on inside me.  When the sun started to peek out, I went outside and watched it rise. It was so rich in color; the yellow mixed with a little red was so beautiful. I heard Sammie on his baby monitor so I went up to him, and just held him. I got his food ready and we sat down outside while I embraced my life; I was blessed. God has given me everything I ever dreamt of.

My mother’s walks out onto the porch “Hey honey, did you even sleep?” I pull my head up towards her as she gasps “What’s wrong?” I was crying at his point, dark circles under my eyes, and last night’s make up smeared. “I’m scared…” She gave me a confused look, I never really cried in front of her “Of what sweetie? You’re getting married, you should be thrilled!” I looked back down at Sammie; he had fallen back asleep in my arms. “Of losing everything I love.”  She was still wondering what was going on “I am just scared to get married, with a newborn in the picture, and something bad happen.” She then came to my side, “Honey, Sam isn’t like all those other guys. He will protect you. The way he is around you, watching your every move. He loves you more than life itself; I never understood it but you two are so happy. Don’t worry; let’s go wake Bella and the girls up.” I nodded and took Sammie back to his pack ‘n’ play. I headed for Bella’s room first as my mom made everyone breakfast.

Bella jolted as she heard my voice, but she knew what today was; “I’ll go get a bath, and eat mommy.” She disappeared into the bathroom before I could reply. I headed to the spare bedroom where the girls were. I grabbed a horn I found in one of their bags last night. I pushed the button as the girls threw themselves off the bed onto the floor. I couldn’t resist laughing incredibly loud, “What the hell Olivia?” they all stood up trying to get a grip on their hangovers. “Sorry, payback is a bitch huh?” They gave me smart as smiles as I walked out of the room.

I helped my mom load dishes up and placed them on the table, one by one the girls came down stairs and plopped themselves onto the chairs. Shoving food in their mouths like animals; guess it’s one way to get rid of a hangover. I smile to myself; Bella walks into the kitchen as everyone turns their heads to her “I’m here everyone!” we all smile and cheer for her. She was always a little drama queen when there was an audience. Breakfast was over, and we all took turns with the bathroom. I was last since they were all going to help me get ready.
