Bethany:
Cole grabs Jake by his shoulders and pushes him against the wall. Logan joins their little fight.
No, no! Their 'little' fight, just turned out to be not so little.
Logan punches Jake in the face and Cole still holds him in place. I can see that Jake wants to fight back, but he can't with the way they are holding him. I want to scream, but I can't. Jake doesn't deserve this at all.
"Fuck off Logan, I only helped her," Jake yells through Logan's punches and punches him back hard.
I give a high-pitched scream inwards and finally, Fiona realizes and she comes over towards me. She removes the duct tape and I take a huge breath. Why would Fiona be here? Did she come with the rest? My head hurts. All of these events are driving me crazy.
"No, stop!" I shout at my loudest. Cole and Logan back away from Jake, who looks kind of beaten up. Fiona unties me and I run to the boys.
When I'm next to Jake I turn to the boys, "He was helping me, my mom tied me to the chair."
Guilty looks form on their faces and everyone looks confused.
I take Jake's face in my hands. "Are you okay?" I ask him.
"Yeah, it's fine," he mumbles.
"What? Jake, your lips," I say. His lips are bruised, because of Logan's punches.
He puts his arms around my waist and whispers, "I'm glad you're okay."
I put my nose against his, close my eyes, and then give him a quick kiss on the side of his mouth. He opens his eyes and I smile and he mirrors mine.
I forgot about all my friends who are probably watching all of this.
I turn my head to look at them and the girls are all staring with these gaping-fish expressions, except for Fiona who probably has no idea what is going on. The boys on the other hand are just smirking.
Speaking of, what happened to Fiona's eye? I swear if this is Logan's fault as well...
I miss hanging out with her, she's such a sweet person.
"So this is why you haven't been to school," Logan says to Jake. We never told any of them about this thing going on between us.
"You probably hid in his house for those two weeks you were gone," Jane says towards me.
"When did this happen?" Cole says to the both of us.
"It's cute," Brooklyn says in wonder.
"Stop staring," Nora says to Jane.
They both glare at each other until Skyler says, "Girls, please."
I start to blush from all of this attention.
"Logan, Cole, fix your mess. Girls, we have some catching up to do," I say with a smile and the guys all walk to the kitchen for ice.
The girls follow me to my bedroom and we all make ourselves comfortable.
"Fiona, what happened to your face?" I ask her with a concerned expression.
"It's a long story, but basically Sarah punched her and destroyed her phone," Nora says.
"Goodness Fiona. Are you okay? And what happened between you guys?" I ask, referring to Nora and Jane.
"She never stops judging me. She always tells me to keep quiet or not to be so dumb," Jane says stubbornly.
