I didn't react for a solid three seconds.
Dana came to his senses before I did, though, because the prodding of his lips on mine brought me back to myself. I held his face in one of my hands, bringing the other to his shirt to try to pull him impossibly closer, and his hands around my waist squeezed tightly as I kissed him back.
The kiss was slow, but it warmed my insides and I couldn't help but want more. Feeling his lips on mine caused more than just fireworks to go off, I felt my heart explode, and I wanted so much more.
We pulled away to breathe, leaning our foreheads against each other's. I looked in his eyes, trying to search for something that showed that this might've been a mistake, but I saw nothing but love.
I pulled him back for an even softer kiss this time. He kissed me back as his hands now traveled to my face, holding my cheeks softly as his thumbs caressed them. The more I kissed him, the more my heart swelled and I couldn't take it anymore.
I pulled back from the kiss, my eyes still closed, as I felt Dana sigh. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have let that go on," he said quietly. I opened my eyes and gave him a small smile, moving my nose against his softly. "It's fine, Dana. I wanted to." He looked at me a little bit confused, until I pulled him in for another hug.
"I didn't want this to be true, but I can't keep this from you, or myself, anymore. I love you, Dana. I've been falling in love with you, and given our history, I'm scared; but I'm so glad that it's with you. I feel safe coming into this, and I want everything with you. I love you, too." I leaned up and kissed him again, as tears formed in my eyes once again. We heard cheers coming from outside our door, and we pulled apart and stared at each other, before we laughed and opened the door.
There stood the guys and Chalyiaa, piled one on top of the other, on the floor.
"Were you guys listening?" Dana said, as I crossed my arms. "No," said Will, hurrying to get and help the others. "No, but are you guys together now?" I then turned to Dana, who was already looking at me." He pulled me to him and I smiled as he kissed my forehead. "Yeah, we're together now."
Once again cheering ensued, as the guys came and all clapped Dana on the back and shaking him, laughing. Chalyiaa came to me and she hugged me and leaned into my ear; "I told you so," she whispered, as I laughed and pushed her away.
"Well, I think this entails a celebration." Gabe said, as everyone nodded in agreement. Dana shrugged. "Maybe tomorrow. I want to spend time with my baby."
