It was finally the last subject on Friday. Jean and the others were going to Reiner's house after this, we're decided to have some fun with the whole class. Even after the accident that morning, everyone is still okay about it. Well, in my opinion, Jean did a jack moved you know? Calling Connie with names isn't good, especially when we're just stepped on a first year of High School.
The last subject on that day was sport. The boys in the class decided to play basketball for 10 minutes while the girls just cheered and watched us play. The groups were divided into two groups and, sadly, Levi and I weren't in the same group. That made me upset, I don't know about him though, but I'm still am upset about the fact that Levi isn't the same group as me.
I am good at sport, well, any sport. But, I didn't know how to do it properly, you know what I mean? I'm good at the game but I'm suck at the positions and rules. Basketball isn't my favorite sport, but not the least type of favorite sport either. Levi, on the other hand, he is fucking good at every sports. Well, I can see where he have this well-body from. But, even though he is good at it, his brain is probably shutting down for education.
I stand in the middle of the field, waiting for anyone to pass the ball to me because my position is pretty much open for three points or pass to another person. But my luck wasn't there as the others were busy scoring the game. I sighed as I eyed Levi standing near his goalpost, and his expression tell me that he is bored af. Typical of Levi Ackerman if you haven't notice.
"Levi!" I called as I walk near to him. He only turn his gaze on me before looking at the other groups trying to score the points in my group's ring, but oh well, that's not where I stand earlier anyway. "this is boring,"
"indeed it is," he said. "their egos are as big as their selfishness,"
I chuckled. "you're still upset about Jean? come on, get over it already,"
He just shrugged his shoulders as he keeps watching the groups from afar. I get that he doesn't want to talk about what happened this morning. Honestly, I don't even want to talk about it either but I don't know which topic should I bring to him, especially when he doesn't show much expression and furrowed his eyebrows a lot. It's hard to pic a single topic to this guy.
"maybe... we should just leave. I mean, it's not like they'd notice," I said before turning to him. "what do you say?"
"where to? if it's going back to the class, I had to refused. it's too hot to breath in there," he said. My cheeks turned to red when he said that, I know it's nothing wrong with what he said but, somehow, my mind went somewhere dirty when he said that.
"o-oh, okay," I stuttered. "what about... the cafeteria? we could have a drink or two,"
He turned to me before nodding his head. I smiled before grabbing his hand absent-mindedly and run with him to the canteen. I turned my head to where the groups still had their basketball games and not even a single person notice that Levi and I are missing. Good then, I smirked before continue running to the canteen.
"do you have to hold my hands? I'm not a lost puppy," he said behind me.
I realized at what am I doing before releasing his hand. I only chuckled at him before getting inside the cafeteria like the holding hand moment meant nothing to me. Well, it doesn't meant anything to the both of us, does it? I believe it isn't.
"what will you get?" I asked to him while looking at the smoothies.
"I'll get a-," he stopped when his hands were searching something in his pockets.
I turned to him before raising an eyebrow at him. "hmm? what's that?"
"shit, Eren," he cursed. "I forgot my wallet,"
