"Eren, I'm home," I heard the front door open and shut closed.
I jogged to the front door and expecting Levi to be there instead of my parents who just got home. I should've heard the car engine went off while in the back, cleaning some dirty plates.
My mom smiled at me but then her eyes widen and her expression fell. My dad glanced at mom for a second before looking at me with wide eyes. Why are they looking at me like that? Do I have something on my face? They should stopped looking at me like that, it's getting uncomfortable.
"what?" I ask.
"your... head... what's that?" my mom asks with horror expression.
"it's a clean small towel to covered my hair from dust," I explained.
"are you on drugs or something, son? are you sure you're alright?" my dad asked me. Now I'm getting a bit scared with their reaction.
"I am alright," I narrowed my eyebrows before looking at the clock near the kitchen table. "you guys came home early,"
"yes, we did. we don't have much of paper works today," my mom approached me before looking around at the room. "did you hire a maid while we're gone, Eren?"
"what are you talking about? of course I don't," I said with a bit disappoint face. "I was cleaning the house,"
My dad chocked on my words made mom and I jumped in surprised. What the hell is wrong with them? I was only cleaning the house, not murdering my whole family.
"you were what, Eren?" My dad asked me again.
I gulped. "I was... cleaning?"
My mom looked at my dad for a second before they let out a loud laugh made my eyes widen at their reaction. Is it me the one who's using drugs right now or my parents? What's wrong with me cleaning?
"Eren, honey, did someone told you to clean the WHOLE house? or you just wanted to do it?" My mom asked while closing her lips with her hands to stop her from laughing.
"Levi told me to clean my bed room- holy crap, where the hell is Levi?" I asked them, starting to get worried about him.
He went out today at 3 and now it's like 7 in the evening, and he is still isn't home! Did he ran off and get lost? That's not the Levi I know. He wouldn't do such careless thing. Except that one thing and I decided not to recall that, and I don't think you need to know about it either.
"Levi? as in, your High School friend who's going to stay here?" My mom asked.
"yes, that's him!" I said while looking at them. "he told me to clean because my bed room is filthy so I decided to clean the whole house,"
"where is he now?" My dad asked, wondering around the house.
"he said something walking out... he said he'll be back if I'm done with-,"
Just then, I heard the front door open only to reveal Levi with my coat and he was sweating with some grocery bags in his hands. I smiled at him before passing my parents who are looking at him with a surprised look.
"you came back!" I exclaimed before helping him with the grocery bags.
"all of my stuffs are here, Jaeger," he said but then stopped when he saw the two unfamiliar people in front of him who are also looking at him.
"you must be Levi, Eren's friend," My dad smiles at him before raising his hand to him. "I'm Eren's father, Grisha Jaeger. it's so nice to finally meet you in person. Eren talks about you all the time,"
I saw a tint pink shades on his cheeks made me chuckle a little before he accept my dad's hand and shake it.
"Levi Ackerman," he greeted. "I'm deeply apologized if I made the Jaeger family in trouble,"
I looked at him with a smirk because- he did made a trouble in my family. I heard my mom giggled before giving Levi a reassure pat on his shoulder.
"oh no you don't, Levi. beside, I should be the one who thanked you for changing Eren to clean the whole house," I felt my cheeks heated and felt my mom smirking at me. "he never done this before. so, thank you, Levi,"
"mo- mom," I looked at her with a displeased expression.
"don't worry, Mrs. Jaeger. Eren is in good hand. and you are welcome," he said with a small smile that I've seen it before which is, sadly, fake as fuck.
"what a splendid young man your friend is, Eren," my mom looked impressed before looking at me. "I'm so glad that you're friend with Levi,"
I blushed in embarrassment. My mom is being rather annoying now, I should do something to stop her. Or else, Levi will mock me with this situation over and over again and I'd rather not let him do this to me.
"Levi, please come in and make yourself like home," my dad smiler. "Carla and I usually aren't home so you can hang out with Eren in the house all you like,"
"thank you, sir," Levi smiled. "uhh... I brought your watermelon and some other groceries that you need,"
I turned to the bags that I held and saw a watermelon and some other things we need in the house. Levi never did this before so I don't how to react. He is such generous and kind guy.
I love him so much. I love this side of him. It's very nice and beautiful.
"oh, gosh. you don't have to do this, Levi," my mom giggled.
"no, it's okay. it's from my own will," he explained before smiling at me. "I, honestly, do anything for Eren,"
I chocked on my own shit. Oh my fucking god, he never said anything as cliche as this and I'm actually cloud fucking hundred now. He is so caring and I wanted nothing but more of this warm side of him. I wonder which buttons I should push to get this version of him.
"ah, that's sweet," My dad smiled at both Levi and I.
Levi looked at me while I was glancing at him. Then I decided to give the sweetest smile I've ever did but he looked away with a blush(?) Why is he looking away? I was smiling at him and thanking but yet he is looking away. I'm so attacked.
"I'm going to make dinner," Levi said before walking to the kitchen.
"that boy has manners," My mom said patting my cheek. "he's the nicest person that you've ever brought home Eren,"
I guess so.
