Chapter 4

I remember the teacher told us, the students, for history subject to visit the museum. Every group had 5 members in it and the famous Committee of Doomsday were on the right time to shine. For the first time in forever, Levi and I were actually looked forward for it. We're going to the Transportation Museum and then, we're going to the swimming park. 

"swimming park?" Ymir asked. "I don't think I can do that,"

"what!? why not?" I asked her back.

"I have trouble with swimming pools," Ymir shrugged.

"come on, Ymir. it's not going to be that bad," Reiner smiles. "beside, I heard Historia's coming too,"

Ymir's eyes quickly opened. "well, I was thinking about going home with her after the museum,"

"Ymir," I whined. "come on! it's not like we can do this next time,"

Bertolt nodded. "Eren's right. we're going to be busy at weekends, neither you're going out with other friends or families. we gotta do what we gotta do when we have the time, Ymir,"

"say all the big words, Bertolt," Ymir turned to us. "I won't come to the swimming pool,"

"that's a bummer," Reiner crossed his arms. "you're coming right, Bertolt?"

"u-uhh... I will... but... I'll stay on the surface," he said.

"what's with you now," I turned to the tall boy.

"I... umm," he looked down. "I... kind of scared... of... deep pools,"

I sighed. "but you're still coming, right?"

"ye-yeah," he smiled. "what about you, Levi? are you coming?"

Everyone looked at him including me but he was busy with his phone until he realized that they were looking at him. He turned off his phone before sliding it to his pocket then turned to them. 

"I'll go if Eren go," he said, which actually made me smile. 

"hiosh!" I yelled. "are we going to use your car, Reiner?"

"ah! for that, I kind of forgot that my mother will use it for tomorrow," Reiner said. 

"well, that's a bummer," I frowned. "are we going there with a bus?"

"I hate buses," Levi said. 

"same with Levi," Ymir shrugged. "they're disgusting,"

"I see...," I looked down to think of something. 

"what about train?" Bertolt said. "I mean, the train station is near to our houses and we could meet up there at 8,"

"I agree," Reiner nodded. "what about you guys?"

"I don't know about that," I said. "there are too many people who are going to Maria City right? especially on Saturday,"

"Eren's right," Bertolt smiles. "but the train station usually goes crowded at 10 'till 11. if you want to have a less crowd train, we have to get there much earlier than those people,"

I turned to Ymir who just agree in whatever Bertolt saying. Honestly, I have no idea what's in her mind and I really want to know. She seems to be very calm and quite all the time and I can't read her expression like disgust, happy, or sad. Then, I turned to Reiner who seemed to be interested in whatever Bertolt saying. Of course he is, Bertolt is a genius in this Committee of Doomsday group anyway. 

I, then, looked at Levi who's looking at Bertolt with no expression. Why do I even try with this guy? He's a pain in the ass anyway. But, the thing that I like about Levi that he'll agree with whatever is going on when I agree on it too, when I disagree with it, Levi will do the same as me. It's good to have someone to agree and disagree on the same thing, right? 

"alright," he said. "it settled,"

"indeed it is," Reiner said. "we'll meet up at the train station tomorrow at 8. no over-sleep, or else your name wouldn't be in the group,"

"yes, sir!"

"what are you going to wear for tomorrow?" I asked Levi over the phone speaker while looking at my drawer. "I think I'm going to wear my usual swimsuit,"

"I'm going to wear a short pants," he said from the other line. 

"short pants? don't they a bit lose on your waist when you go swimming? because, I do, and I don't want to wear that again," I said before grabbing my phone. "are you going to wear something casual or a bit of formal?"

"casual. white t-shirt, black flannel, skinny jeans," he stopped. "black shoes,"

"all black aye Levi," I chuckled. "I think I'm going to wear some thin sweater,"

"why? isn't Maria City is hot as fuck?" he said.

"yeah, it is," I said. "but sometimes the weather could drop,"

"whatever you say,"

"do you look forward for tomorrow? because I do," I said with a smile on my face. 

"I...," he stopped. 

"hello? is the line breaking?" I asked before checking Levi's contact. 

"n-no," he appeared and I sighed in relief. "what I'm trying to say is... yes, I'm looking forward for tomorrow,"

I chuckled. "yeah! like, the swimming pool! we should check out that new games that they built a few months ago!"

"whatever," 

"that... what do they call it again? something with tornado," I grabbed my laptop and start searching for the new game. 

"5sos just dropped an album," he tried to change the topic. 

"you don't know shit about them," I chuckled. "why are you even trying to change the topic anyway? are you scared of pools too? especially because you're-,"

"I dare you to finish that sentence, Jaeger," I laughed and fall to my bed. 

"I...," my words were stopped by my own laugh before shrinking myself while holding back another loud laugh of mine. "I'm sorry... I...,"

"sure," he said. "I'm going to sleep,"

"what? upset already? come on, Levi-poo! it's just a joke," I said before laughing again. 

"doesn't seems like it," he said. "and don't call me that, I'm not your shit,"

"yeah, yeah, whatever there," I said before dying out my laugh. "I don't know short people could also have short temper,"

"says the one who flip the table when someone insult you," 

"hey!" I pouted. "he was... being mean, okay!"

"yeah whatever," I can feel him roll his eyes. "I'm going to sleep. it's getting late,"

I looked at my clock. "yeah,"

"make sure to wake up early tomorrow," he said. 

"yes, dad," I rolled my eyes. 

"I'm not your sugar daddy,"

"I don't even want you to," I frowned. "that's disgusting,"

"indeed that was," he said. "good night now, Eren,"

I wasn't sure if that words were meant into something else but my heart was playing with me when he said that. I just smiled and said that back to him. A smile that haven't appeared in a long time came back to me, no, to us. I wasn't thinking that everything will ever go wrong between us, so I just smiled.

"good night, Levi,"
