Powerful {Bakugou x Reader}

Smoke and Winners

"Bakugo is captured," I announce as I enter the room, holding my broken and bloody arms out to the side and letting red droplets rain on the floor.

Iida is turned away from me initially, and when he turns around he's speechless.

"He fired a large explosion at me that send me into the wall. But I mustered my strength through the pain and managed to fight back and win. Now it's my turn to defeat you." I lower my arms into a fighting stance.

Iida gawks at me for a moment, and then regains his composure. "So that would mean you have Bakugo's Quirk, which is troublesome." He angles one leg in front of him and drops his waist into a running stance. "But that doesn't mean I will let you have the bomb so easily."

"Good," I say with a grin and charge at him.

I need to draw his attention away from the bomb. And lead him away from the wall Midoriya is going to be edging his way around. First, I should create a smoke screen to hide my partner better.

I start firing off explosions left and right at Iida. Smoke forms a wall to his left and right, limiting his vision only to me and the bomb behind him. It would be too suspicious if I were to create a smoke screen behind him.

I send a larger explosion at his legs to try to set him off balance so he can't evade me as easily.

Suddenly Iida jumps upwards and dodges my explosion, firing a powered roundhouse kick at me. I send an explosion at his leg as fast as I can, since I have no time to dodge. The leg barely grazes me and I leap backwards.

That's the first time I've seen him use a close combat move. I grin, because this just means I need to aim higher. If I come down at him from higher up then I can avoid his kick.

I run to the wall opposite of Midoriya and kick off of it, using explosions to keep me in the air before dropping onto Iida. He easily dodges though.

I click my tongue in annoyance. Looks like he's going to try to keep his distance now.

"You're not going after the bomb," Iida suddenly realizes, and he turns his head towards the bomb.

Fuck. While he head is turns I muster up a huge explosion and fire it at him hurriedly. He swiftly dodges, turning back to me.

"You're just distracting me!" He starts to run towards the bomb.

"I didn't want to have to use this," I mutter under my breath and then pull out Bakugo's other gauntlet from my cloak. "Freeze," I say in the more serious and threatening voice I can muster.

Iida turns around as I strap on the gauntlet. "Move an inch and I'll blow you up." I aim it at him and place my hand on the trigger.

In the smoke to my left I can make out Midoriya's figure. He's right next to the bomb, still hidden by smoke. I watch out of the corner of my eye as he back up to the wall and places a foot on it.

Is he going to push off? I wonder.

His back leg starts to glow with lines of light. Iida notices and turns around, about to sprint to the bomb.

"Fuck it!" I scream and pull the trigger, unleashing the same huge explosion used one me. I switch the aim so it's away from the bomb and hits the wall opposite of Midoriya instead.

The explosion distracts Iida enough for my partner to push off the wall with extreme strength and land on the bomb.

"Yes!" I raise my arms with joy, but they drop with exhaustion.

The room around me starts to fade away as the smoke and heat from the explosion fill my lungs. The fatigue and pain have finally caught up with me, and I pass out on the floor of the room.
