Ever since I've been told that there was the possibility for me to go to America for a school exchange, I've been very excited because of my love for the English language as well as my great capacities in said language. Besides that, I've also always wondered what an American school is like and I see this as a great opportunity to fill in the gaps on this.
Thanks to various websites like Deviant Art or even YouTube where you almost only speak English to communicate with people, I've learned a lot of new English verbs and some slang as well which I by now use on a regular basis when talking to people in English. There are even some American people with who I have regular daily talks.
I've also already been to America once when I was seven years old. To California, specifically. And although I've seen many cool and interesting things there and learned a lot about the country, I barely got to learn anything about the language itself and a typical American day for example. This is also why I'd love to visit this beautiful country again.
My main interests consist of drawing, playing the guitar, watching movies as well as various shows, singing, reading and talking. I can proudly say that I've already held about three conversations on English that lasted almost three hours each and I've also had some shorter talks in English. Though it can be safely said that I'm more of an indoor-kid. Besides that, some of the movies and most of the shows I watched so far were in English and so are half of the books I've read so far. Some of my minor hobbies are Anime and playing some certain video games (mostly Nintendo games so far but I also play racing games).
To sum it up, I'd really love to go to America for a school exchange and therefore hope my wish will be granted.
