-- a couple months later --

Since Paris Jack and I's relationship had flourished. Although we weren't formally boyfriend and girlfriend we pretty much acted like it. We cuddled on couches, occasionally pecking each other on the cheek. Atlas disapproved majorly and always managed to find another excuse for his opinion other than 'dude what the fuck that's my sister.'. Every time we did any form of PDA, mo matter how insignificant it may have seemed, I could tell how badly he wanted to yell it. I think Atlas secretly felt jealous. Jealous that he was no longer the only person I went to when I had troubles, that when I was sad he wasn't the only one who rushed to hug me and make everything better.

-

This was it. This was what we'd been preparing for. Almost a year of planning. I looked around the beautiful hotel room we had been provided and smiled, so much had changed within the past year. I'd finally found my family, the family I was meant to be with.

"HENLEEYYY! Where's my dress?" I yelled out looking for my outfit that Henley had convinced me to buy. "On my bed darling!" I heard her shout back from her room. I skipped into her room excitedly scanning the room for a dress. "I didn't get the one you wanted, I got you a much... sexier one!" Henley called from her ensuite and I could almost hear the smirk on her face. I rolled my eyes walking over to the bed. On it lay a gorgeous black dress. It was strapless, went down to right above the knee with a small slit on the side showing extra leg and was paired with a thick black choker to go around my neck. "Very professional..." I mumbled to myself. "I'm just gonna go grab a shower I'll be right back," I called out to Henley as I went back to my room to gather my things.

I put the dress on along with the choker and headed to Henleys room for my hair and makeup. "Oh my god I'm so excited!" Henley squealed as I sat down in the seat. Surprisingly it only took 30 minutes for her to make me Las Vegas stage worthy so I was able to relax for an hour before we had to be at the venue. I walked down the large staircase that lead to the even bigger lounge room and kitchen. I made my way over to one of the many couches and turned on the TV, I had an hour to kill.

There was only a mere 3 minutes of quietness before I was interrupted. Firstly Merritt came down the stairs whistling and when I glared at him he stopped and smiled, "You look very beautiful Tessy darling," to that I just smiled sweetly and looked back at the television. Less than a minute later I heard someone else come down the stairs and I glanced over, Atlas. "Uh..." he mumbled nodding awkwardly before walking over to one of the many windows that gave us a beautiful view of the city. Henley then came down the staircase receiving approving nods from Atlas and Merritt before she came over and sat next to me. Finally, Jack came down the staircase and I quickly looked up at him smirking, already knowing his reaction. He looked stunned, completely and utterly stunned. "God damn..." he said quietly, but not quietly enough as we all heard him, his eyes locked with mine. He quickly realised that he was getting death glares from Merritt, Atlas and Henley so he rushed down the remaining stairs and plopped himself down into the love seat.

I would be lying if I said that I wasn't stunned as well by his appearance. All the boys were wearing black dress pants, a black suit jacket paired it with a white dress shirt. They all cleaned up nicely but by far the best looking one was Jack. Maybe it was just the clothes complementing his figure. Maybe it was his smile, the way it brightened up the room. Or maybe it was the fact that he always looked gorgeous. But god damn...

"Merritt McKinney! Daniel Atlas! Tess Reynolds! Henley Reeves! Jack Wilder! Arthur Tressler and the MGM Grand proudly presents The Five Horsemen!" The announcer called out, our names filling the air along with the crowd cheering wildly. Our faces all flashed up onto the huge screens that hung from the ceiling.
