TMNT: Once Evil, Always Evil? (Donnie x reader)

Chapter 10

(Y/N) was sitting on a rooftop near your alley where you sleep. You've been thinking on how to return the city's power without the power driving you mad again. You sighed and lay back as you let your legs go over the ledge, the sun was rising into the morning air. You sighed again, it's so frustrating to figure out how to get New York their power back. I hate not knowing what to do, you thought angrily, red sparks came out of your hands but you took deep breaths to calm down.

It is a frustrating thing to have powers and not knowing how to use them properly. Oh well, life doesn't tend to be easy. You hear footsteps coming, which confused you, it's not dark yet.....eerr, anymore. Why is he coming now? You sat up and turned around, just in time to see Donnie land on the rooftop she's on. "You're a little early, what's up", you asked, smirking a bit, but frowned when you saw that Donnie was upset, if not, a little angry. "Hey, what's wrong", "nothing", Donnie replied a little too quickly as he sat down next to you.

You frowned some more, you wanted to ask him what's going on but at the same time, you wanted to leave it alone. After a few minutes, you decided to leave it be for now and wanted to cheer him up, "ok, hey, since your here, want to prank some people", you asked, grinning wide. "Prank? I'm sorry but I'm not into that sorta thing", Donnie tried to decline, "oh come on, turn off that big brain of yours and have a little fun, besides I think you need it."

Donnie thought for a moment but smiles and stood up, "well, ok, but no one gets hurt, right?" "Of course, well, if it's the purple dragons", you told him. He paused and smiles a little, "well, ok", you cheered, grabbed his hand, and ran off. Donnie blushed when you took his hand but laughs a little as they ran off to have some fun.

Meanwhile, in the lair, the Hamato family were still waiting for Donnie to come to training. "I wonder what's taking Donnie so long", Mikey asked, a little bemused, "I don't know, I woke him up about 10 minutes ago", Raph grumbled. "I will check on him, you may begin your warm ups", Master Splinter said, "Hai Sensei", the three turtles said in unison as the bowed to their Master before beginning their warm ups.

Splinter walks calmly to Donnie's room but something's not right, it feels like something is missing in the lair, that made him a little nervous. When he got to Donnie's door, he knocked softly, "Donatello? Are you awake?" No answer, he knocks again, this time a little louder, "Donatello, it is time for training." Still no answer came. Heaving a sigh, Splinter turns the knob and opens the door, "Donatello, it is time to-", Splinter stopped when he saw the bed was empty.

"Donatello? Donatello!" Splinter called out as he searched the room, no sign of him. He ran out of the room and to Donnie's lab, he wasn't there either. Panicking, Splinter searched the entire lair, "oh no..." Splinter ran into the dojo, "Donatello is gone", he said, shaking in fear. "What", Leo said, confused, "I can not find him anywhere in the lair", Splinter responded. Mikey looked very nervous,"wh-where could he be?" "Let's look for him in the sewers, if he's not there, we go Topside", Leo said, he was worried about Donnie but he had to remain calm if they're going to find him. "Go, I'll be here in case he comes back", Splinter said, the turtles nodded and ran out of the lair to search for their brother.

A/N: Hey, everyone, here's the new chapter. I just haven't been feeling very well lately, I barely eat, I sleep a lot and I feel like throwing up. Writing this took what little energy I had, but I finally did it, I really hope you like it...
