Chapter 5

Donnie was sleeping peacefully when...

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"Donnie! Donnie get up! It's time for training!", yelled Raphael, banging on the door, Donnie groaned and cover his face with his pillow, not wanting to get up.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"Donnie! Don't make me brake down this door!", Raph threatened, Donnie groaned again and sat up, "I'm coming, I'm coming, don't get your mask in a knot", Donnie said, trying not to sound tired.

He heard his brother huffed and walks away, Donnie sighed, rubbing his tired eyes, he didn't get much sleep, but hopefully it won't affect his training, he put on his gear and mask, then he looks at his hand that shook you hand.

Donnie blushed at the thought of your hand touching his, head shook his head and went to the dojo, it was still dark, the electricity was still gone and the only light they have was the sunlight that the manhole that's on the ceiling of the dojo, everyone was there, waiting for him, he blushed in embarrassment.

"Donatello, can you explain to me why you were late?", Master Splinter asked, stroking his thin bread as he looked at his intelligent son, "w-well I...", Donnie started, how was he going to answer his sensei, oh I'm sorry, I was just visiting a new friend that was responsible for the electricity that was stolen from the city, yeah, that's not going to happen.

"I was just in my lab, working on something to help with searching for the girl that stole the city's power last night, and I lost track of time, so...", Donnie said, rubbing the back of his head and he looks down, embarrassed.

Master Splinter looks at his purple masked son, he had raised all four of his sons and know when they're lying, but he sighed, he'll let it slide for now, "very well, just do not let it happen again", the elderly rat said, Donnie nodded and walks towards his brothers.

After training everyone went to do their own thing, since there's no power they can't watch tv, use the computer, or play video games so they settled with something else, Leo went to meditate with Master Splinter, Raph started punching at his punching dummy, Mikey went to his room to play with his action figures, and Donnie sat on the couch, reading a book about electricity.

As Donnie continues to read, the candle that was on the coffee table next to the couch, his mind drifted to you, even though he just met you, he started to feel a little...he doesn't really know how to explain it, his heart was pounding in his chest, it felt like he was having a heart attack but it was more pleasant than that.

Donnie sighs a little, he hope to see you again and hoping that his brothers won't kill you or something.

Later, night fell, meaning it's time for patrol, Donnie was a little nervous and worried about you, he hope you're alright, "ok let's go find that maniac and give her a piece of our mind", Raph said, cracking his knuckles.

After a few hours of looking for you, Leo called it a night, "what!? We didn't find that maniac yet!", Raph yelled, obviously enraged, "it's getting late and we're all tired, Raph, we'll try again tomorrow", Leo said calmly, "everyone would've been fried by then!!", Raph yelled, "like French fries?", Mikey asked, making his brothers facepalm, "I understand that you feel that way, but if we do encounter her, we'll be too tired to fight", Leo said, "haven't you seen what she did to Donnie!?", Leo yelled, Raph flinched and looks down, "fine, let's go home", Raph grumbled, not wanting to continue the argument.

"Actually you guys go ahead", Donnie said, staring at the beautiful night sky, "I'll...I'll catch up", the three looked at each other then back at Donnie, "are you sure?", Leo asked, not wanting Donnie to be alone because of the maniac that's running around, "yep, I just want to enjoy the scenery before the city lights takes that away", Donnie said, still staring at the sky.

"Ok, well, don't stay out to late ok?", Leo said before walking away, Mikey and Raph following behind him, Donnie sighed and started looking for you, he just wants to see you again...he just has to see you again
