Chapter 18

You felt the world was in slow motion as you ran towards the two charging turtles. You didn't know when you started running, perhaps your love for Donnie made your instincts kick in. You felt the need to protect Donnie, no matter what the cost, you love him. You love him with all of your heart and if he died...well, you don't even know what would happen. As you shoved Donnie out of the way, you turned towards Raph when-

The burning pain of the sai cutting into your chest. Your pupils stunk to the size of peas as you stared at Raph's face. He stared back in shock and horror, he didn't want this, he didn't mean to do this. You can't really blame him, it was your fault for messing with their family and this is the price to pay. You tried to speak but all you could whisper is, "I'm sorry", tears fell from your eyes as Raph pulls his sai away from you and you collapsed.

Donnie got into his hands and knees as he shook his head. What happened? He thought as he turned around, his heart skipped a beat and tears welled up in his eyes. "No....", he whispered as he got up and ran towards you. Donnie fell on his knees as he reached you, "(Y/N)! Please wake up", he picked you up into his arms and hugs you tightly, not caring that blood was dripping onto his plastron. "(Y/N), please, open your eyes! You-you can't leave me! Please don't leave me!" You didn't respond, Donnie's tears fell like waterfalls as he sobbed, "No! No! No! No! No! Please! I-I can't live without you! Please! Wake up!" No answer and Donnie broke down as he hugs you and gently rocks you back and forth. "Please...please... don't leave me", he whispers in complete sadness and despair, "I love you..."

Raph stared at the scene in complete horror and then looks at his blood soaked sai and hand. He dropped the sai and stared at his bloody hand, he didn't want to kill anyone. Shredder is the only one that he wants dead, not...not anyone else. No matter what they've done, no human deserves death. Shredder is not human, he is a monster that should never been alive. Yes, he was angry at you for what you've done but you didn't deserve this.

Leo and Mikey watched Donnie cry his heart out, Mikey looks away as tears fell and Leo just bowed his head. They may have been mad at you but they too believed that you didn't deserve this.

Donnie continues to cry as he held you tightly, not caring about the rain that started to pour down, not about his brothers watching him, not about how his throats hurt from crying so hard. All he cares about is you and you alone. Donnie looked up at the sky and screamed out all of his sadness, anger, despair, every single negative emotion that he tucked away deep within his soul into one heart wrenching scream.

Donnie looks back at you, and his eyes started to glowing a blood red color. He gritted his teeth and he stared to glare, not at you, he's glaring at the floor. His eyes glowed with anger...no, not anger...rage. He felt rage and hatred towards his brothers, and they don't deserve to be called his brothers! They
will pay for this....
