TMNT: Once Evil, Always Evil? (Donnie x reader)

Chapter 6

You were on a rooftop, trying to control your new found power, "come on...come on...", you said to yourself, trying to make a ball of electricity.

Sweat formed on your forehead as you concentrated, but after a few seconds, the ball exploded and threw you back, making you crash into an air vent.

"Ugh...that was painful", you said to yourself, your head against the air vent and your eyes closed as you waited for the pain to subside, "wow, that must've hurt", said a voice that was all too familiar.

"Shut up, Donnie", you said, your eyes still closed, "how did you know it was me already", Donnie asked, sitting next to you, "I memorize people's voices, I find it a little easier then memorizing their faces, though your face is one of a kind", you replied, opening your eyes.

"Wow, that's actually impressive", Donnie said looking at you, you sat up and sighed, "what are you even doing out here?", you asked, cocking an eyebrow at Donnie.

"Well, two things, one is that I wanted to see you again, I feel more comfortable talking to you for some reason", you chuckled at that, "yeah, I do have that kind of effect on people", you said, "anyway, I also came to warn you", Donnie said, worry in his eyes.

"Warn me? About what?", you asked, looking at Donnie with your (e/c) eyes, "it's my brothers, they're looking for you, they think you're evil", Donnie said, "is it because I went insane two days ago", you said, looking at you're shoes, you still felt so guilty.

"What? Nooooo, no, of course not, they just....", Donnie stopped when he noticed the you were looking at him with a deadpan expression on your face, "yes...yes it was...", Donnie said, putting him two fingers together in a sheepish way, you sighed and look up.

"I'm sorry, I just-", "no, it's fine", you interrupted him, still looking at the sky, "I'm just...I don't know...", you mumbled, not taking your eyes off the stars.

Donnie frowns at this, he scoots closer to you and nudges you, making you jumped in surprise and look at him, "(Y/N), you can tell me anything, I won't make fun of you, I promise", Donnie said, giving you a side smile, you smile back a little, feeling more comfortable around him, "ok...how do I start?", you asked yourself, tapping your chin.

"Well, I feel homesick I guess, I mean I do hate my school life but I miss my friend, her name's Mary, she's...a little coo coo in the head but she's still means well", you said, sighing, "(Y/N)", Donnie asked, "I'm sorry for this", "oh jeez I just told you that it wasn't your fault", you said turning to Donnie,"I can't help but feel guilty, (Y/N)", Donnie said, standing up and started pacing.

You sighed, got up, and hug Donnie, "shut up, dummy, I've told you that I forgave you, just drop it", you said, still hugging Donnie, Donnie hugs you back, "I'm sorry, I gets I'm just tired is all", he said, "well, that explains it", you said, looking at Donnie's face, "you have bags under your eyes and-", you gasped, covering your mouth, "what!? What!? Is there something on my face!?", Donnie panicked and he tapped his face with his hands to find something on it.

"Yeah, and it's pretty bad", you said, trying not to smile, there's nothing on his face, you were just messing with him, "is my face messed up?", Donnie asked, looking at you, "yep, big time, you look exactly the same", you said, booping Donnie's nose, Donnie blinked and scrunched up his nose for a moment, then he starts chuckling and you joined in.

You look up and gasps, "look a shooting star!", you closed your eyes, clap your hands together, and focused hard, I wish me and Donnie will be best friends until the end, you thought, "what did you wish for", Donnie asked, "well I'm not supposed to tell my wish or else it won't come true", you said, opening one of your (e/c) eyes and looking at Donnie.

Donnie blushed and rubbed the back of his head, "oh, yeah, right", he said, looking away, you look up and gasps, "look, there's another, this one's yours, go on make a wish", you said, shaking the purple banded turtle, "ok, ok, ok, jeez", Donnie said as he closed his eyes and made a wish, I wish (Y/N) and I will be great friends, even though we ruined her life, Donnie thought, smiling a closed mouth smile.

You grinned at Donnie, curious of what he wished for, though it won't come true if he told so you ignore that itchy feel of shaking the answers out of him.

Little did the both of you know that your wishes will come true....maybe a little different then expected....
