TMNT: Once Evil, Always Evil? (Donnie x reader)

Chapter 19

You feel like you're floating, but your chest feels like something heavy is on top of it. It doesn't really hurt, but it was uncomfortable. It also doesn't feel like you're breathing, but there was no burning pain that came with not breathing. You open your eyes to see that you're staring at a dark, cloudy sky. It's raining too, you like the rain,(a/n: if you don't like it, pretend you do) it's very soothing to listen to. You sat up, shaking your head a little to clear away the foggy mind. You noticed something, actually, you noticed a few things.

First, you feel light, like you can float to the sky, but yet, you're still bound to earth. Second, you seem to be glowing a light grayish glow, and third, you're transparent! You were looking at your hands in surprise, you can see through them. What-what happened? You stood up and looked around, you saw Donnie kneeling down and hugging something that you couldn't see from where you stood. You also saw his brothers behind him, looking shocked. You wee confused, what's going on? Why are you like this? Why his Donnie crying? What is he holding? Is that....blood? You stared in shock when you noticed blood dripping from the thing that Donnie held in his arms, some of that blood was on his lap and stomach.

You gulped, you really don't want to know what it was but your curiosity was eating away at your insides that it was almost unbearable. With a deep breath, you started to walk closer towards Donnie, shaking in every step. As you got closer, you started to recognized a few things, (H/C), (F/C) shirt, black jeans....no it couldn't be... When you got close enough, your eyes widened to the size of dinner plates. The thing that Donnie held in his arms, chest still bleeding from the hole that came from Raphael's sai, was you...

You covered your mouth in shock and horror as you backed up a few steps. This...this can't be happening! It just can't! Please let this be a dream! You fell on your knees, covered your face and cried in your hands. You didn't want to die, you wanted to live long enough to tell Donnie how you felt. Now, you'll never get that chance, you will never find out if he felt the same way, and you will never be able to just be with him. You won't be able to hear his voice, you won't see his adorable face again. You won't be able to feel his arms around you, you won't be able to just feel his presence next to you. You continued to cry in devastation, you loved him...

After a few minutes of feeling sorry for yourself, you finally let your hands drop onto your lap and look up to look at Donnie's sobbing form. You loved him so much that you were willing to give up your life for his...isn't that what lovers do for each other? Well, you two aren't lovers but still. You sighed, closing your eyes to try and relax your trembling spirit.

After a moment, you didn't hear Donnie crying anymore. You opened your eyes and saw him glaring at the ground, his once gentle reddish-brown eyes turned into a bright red color. You gasped when you noticed that sorrow and pain are no longer there, but a burning fire of rage, hatred, and something else...insanity.... Your Donnie has lost his beautiful mind to something much darker.

You started crying again, you didn't want Donnie to become like this! You didn't want him to lose his mind like this! There's no telling what's going to happen! Suddenly, you saw lights from all of New York flickered on. It's electricity was returned to the city, but at what cost? You turned back to Donnie to see him starting to grin, his teeth clenched together and his pupils contracted.

No...Donnie, please....don't do this....
