The next morning I wake up and jump in the shower. My talk with Arron's mysterious brother haunting my every thought.
I have to find out what Arron did. If he did anything. Well did he? It couldn't be that easy to make something up like that. And Arron was eager to push the subject when I asked him how Mike ended up in Juve. But I'll find out. And I have the perfect chance to. Mrs.Fisher is taking me shopping this afternoon so I'll make sure to scratch the surface a little on that.
After showering I hurriedly get dressed and run a quick brush through my blond locks. Today's one of the colder days of the week so I dressed myself in jean capris and a light green sweater.
"Paige, Marie is here!"
"Coming!" After grabbing my bag I give myself a once over in the mirror and head downstairs. I wave my aunt and Travis a quick bye and smile to Marie as she waves from the car window.
"Ready to shop till we drop?" Marie smiles, rounding the driveway. I smile buckling myself in,"Thanks for taking me. You really didn't have to."
"I know. But I want to. Arron hates shopping and Hadley's too young. And besides, gives me a chance to get to know the girl he's been talking about non stop."
I blush,"He talks about me?"
Marie nods, fixing a piece of hair that just blew into her face,"All the time. Can't get him to shut up." She smiles.
I smile to myself, looking out he window when I feel a blush coming on. "He really likes you you know?"
I nod, quickly meeting her gaze,"Yeah. I know." I smile.
"And do you really like him?"
"Yeah." I do. I honeslty, truly do. In the short amount of time I've been here I've realised so many things I never had before. That even though I fight with my mother, I miss her, and honestly don't know what I'd do without her.
And Arron. As cheesy as it sounds he's made me feel like the most important girl in the world. With him I've gotten to experience first hand what it feels like to be in love. To feel lost and distressed and have him turn my mood around by one adorable side smile, or the crinkling of his eyes when he laughs.
Marie squeals in excitement, causing me I snap out of my recent thoughts,"I'm so glad to here that." She makes a left turn,"You know it hasn't been easy for him to move on from Selena. I thought he never would." She says, her thin lips pursing into a thin line as her hands tighten around the wheel.
"Yeah. It must be hard loosing someone you love." I say, glancing back out the window as an awkward tension develops.
She doesn't reply and pulls into the local mall Parking lot. Quickly finding a parking spot in the crowded lot and shutting off the car. "Here we are." She smiles, locking the car up.
I follow her into a store, making our way pass house furnishings until we enter the main lobby. "Where shall we start? Shoes? Clothes? Accessories?" She asks excitedly.
I laugh,"It doesn't matter to me."
She smiles,"Come on, I think there's a Tiffany's over there."
We walk into Tiffany's, a sweet fragrance meeting our noses as we enter. A short thin lady approaches us wearing a red plaid belly shirt, showing off her diamond belly button ring. "Can I help you?"
"Yes, my daughter here needs a new wardrobe, classy, yet comfy clothes."
I mentally smile as she calls me her daughter, following her and the store attendant to a rack of clothes.
