Rey woke in Ben's arms. Her head resting on his shoulder and her arm draped across his chest. They had fallen asleep together. It was the first time she ever slept in such an intimate position, and it didn't frighten her as she thought it would. Surprisingly, being in Ben's arms had made her feel safe. Any fear and anger she felt was gone; its remnants lingering but never consuming. But she could sense that something was still wrong.

She got out of the bed, carefully so that she wouldn't wake him. She left the room, silently closing the bedroom door. This was the first time she was free to roam on her own. As much as she was beginning to enjoy Ben's company, she felt like she needed time to think.

She wandered further down that corridor, entering the temple where the large statues are. And that's when she sensed him. She stopped walking and said, "I know you're there."

Draven stepped out of hiding from behind a large pillar and joined her. He was wearing a casual black tunic and pants, and his once groomed hair was a mess. "I'm under orders from Snoke," he said as they walked side by side.

"What sort of orders exactly?" Rey asked, with hope that she'd receive an honest answer.

"I'm to watch over you and Kylo Ren," he answered.

"You mean spy on us..."

"I suppose so," he sighed, as he stopped to glance up at one of the statues. Rey joined him, occasionally watching him from the corner of her eye.

"We're planning on leaving this world together," Rey spoke firmly, without a tinge of doubt.

"Is that right?" Draven smirked. "I doubt that."

"Why?" Rey turned to look at him, with a small scowl.

"Because I know him," he answered. "A lot longer than you do." He turned to face her. "He's not like you. He's so easily corrupted. And you're so...resistant. Snoke has him in his grasp."

"You're wrong," said Rey. "Ben will–"

"Betray you," Draven stepped close, and whispered his next words. "Not unless you stop him. Only you can stop him now."

Rey was stunned, frustrated by the thought of Ben's possible betrayal. And the thought of stopping him. "I can't." She shook her head.
