"It takes strength to resist the dark side. Only the weak embrace it."

It was the next day, or rather evening. Rey didn't know, as the sky of this planet was covered in dark clouds, some grey and others completely black. It was as if it were trying to block out the sun, but even still she was glad to be outside.

"Where are we going?" She asked, as she followed Kylo Ren.

"The Forest," he answered.

"What Forest?" Rey squinted, trying to see through the thickness of the smoke-like fog. Then she saw it. Ahead of them was the Forest, vaguely visible but vast enough to see silhouette of trees.

The closer they got, the more she sensed the darkness. Something terrible had happened here, a battle. Rey suddenly got colder, hugging herself as they entered the forest. She sucked in a nervous breath as she observed her surroundings. "What are we doing here?" She asked, anxious but not afraid.

"This place will help you fully awaken the force," he said, as he stopped walking. "—or it could destroy you." He turned to face her, his expression serious. "You have to embrace it if you're ought to join the dark side."

"I don't want to join the dark side," Rey said, shaking her head. "I don't even want to join the Jedi...I just want to go home."

"This is your home," he said firmly, stepping closer. "The sooner you accept that, the easier this will be."

She glared at him, angrily. Then closed her eyes, and took a breath. She  had to gain his trust, convince him that she won't resist. Then she sighed, "What must I do?" She looked up at him, her expression hard.

"There is a pool of water in the middle of this forest," he explained. "You must find it, and drink from it. Then find your way out."

"And that's all?" She asked, surprised.

"No," he breathed, hesitant. "You must also—survive."
