LAURA'S POV
I was confused and shocked at first, I mean there are other girls in the classroom, why does it have to be him?!And to be honest, my first impression about him is NOT that good. I really think he will be one of the populars someday, he has talents, charm and good looks (Yes, I said it! I really think he is cute and handsome). Someday all the girls will be screaming and throwing themselves to him. And I don't want to be friends with people like that. First, when they are not popular yet, they will talk and hang out with you, they will not forget you, and they will never leave your side. But if they are already popular, they will not hang out or even talk to you. They will forget about you. And their promise that they will never leave you will be BROKEN! That's why I don't want to be close with people like him.
I was interrupted with my thoughts when Ellie waved her hands in front of me.
Ellie: Hello! Earth to Laura! Earth to Laura!
Laura: Sorry Ellie. Been thinking about something lately.
Ellie: It's fine. Anyways, this is my best friend Ross and Ross this is my new friend Laura!
Ross: Hey Laura!
Oh...that's why! Ross then placed his hand in front of me to do a handshake.
I hesitated at first but finally gave in. It's not like if I do a handshake we can instantly be friends. A handshake can never hurt. At least that was what I thought.
When I shook his hand, I felt something odd. I'm just not sure what is it.
ROSS' POV
When I shook Laura's hand I felt something weird but I just shrug it off for now.
Laura: Hey!
Ellie: So now that you officially met and knew each other, what are we going to do?
Just after Ellie said that, Mr. Stevens announced what we will do.
Mr. Stevens: As an introduction to Science and in order for you to make new friends. You will do a short interpretation or do a situation about a system in our body. And no repetitions allowed! There needs to be one group per system ONLY! So you have 15 minutes to decide and to practice. And time starts now!
Ellie: I know exactly what we'll be doing! *Turning to us, giving us looks*
Laura: What is it?
Ellie: We will do the Reproductive System! Laura you will be the mother, Ross you will be the father and I, will be your baby!
Laura immediately shouted "NOOOOO!!!" earning looks from our classmates and teacher. I gotta admit I was shocked at first but it can't be THAT bad!
Laura: What about we choose another system instead?
Ellie: Too late! All the easy ones are taken.
Laura: Then we'll take the hard ones!
Ross: There's no way I'll do the hard ones!
Ellie: Me too! Come on Laura, it's just gonna be a one time presentation!
Laura: Why can't you be the mother and I'll be the baby?!
Ellie: BECAUSE I'm shorter than you, I look and act better as a baby than you and CLEARLY you and Ross look better as a couple!
I was shocked at what Ellie said, I mean Laura and I just met! What was she thinking?!
