Chapter 3 (New Friends)

LAURA'S POV

I immediately grabbed my things and walked outside rapidly but he eventually catched up. Why does he have to be fast and has longer legs than me?! Or...maybe the question should be... Why do I walk slow and have shorter legs?! Then he walked in front of me.

Ross: Laura, we need to talk.

I just walked pass him and continued walking but then he stopped me again and walked in front of me again.

Laura: "What do you want Ross?!" I said in an annoyed tone.

Ross: As I said, I want to talk to you!

Laura: Well I'm not interested!

When Ross was finally annoyed, he grabbed me and threw me over his shoulders and ran into the janitor's closet. Ross put me down, then locked and blocked the door so that I can't go out of the room.

Laura: Move!

Ross: No! Unless you will talk to me!

Laura: Move! There! We are talking right now! Now move!

Ross: "Sorry Laura but that's not a conversation." He said as he got closer to me while I back away from him until I felt my back touched the wall.

He then put a smirk on his face and got his face closer to mine. I was getting nervous so I just shouted "OK! Fine! I'll talk to you!"

Ross: "Good. If you said that earlier then we wouldn't have to go through that." He said as his face goes further away from mine.

Laura: "Yeah Whatever! What is the really important thing that you really want to talk to me?!" I said in a sarcastic tone.

Ross: I want to talk about...'it'.

Laura: I was so nervous that I played dumb. "What 'it'?"

Ross: You know... Do you really want me to say it?

Laura: OK fine! What about it?!

Ross: I'm so sorry about what happened. I just tripped and the next thing I knew is that we kissed.

Laura: "Wow Ross! You said that you don't want to say it but then you said it yourself! AMAZING!" I said in a sarcastic tone.

Ross: "Hahaha...very funny." He said in a more sarcastic tone. "Anyways, I'm really really so-"

Laura: OK I get it! It's fine. Even though you ruined my first kiss, it's fine.

Ross: Hey! You're not the only one whose first kiss is ruined!

I laugh a little bit at his reaction. Then I heard him chuckle.

Ross: "So we're cool now? Friends?"

He said as he stick out his hand for a handshake. And the next thing I knew... I said something I should have never said.

Laura: "Yeah friends." I said as I shake his hand.

He smiled widely as I smiled too.

Ross: We better go now. Classes resume after 10 minutes.

Laura: You should go first. I'll stay here for a couple of minutes.

Ross: You sure?

I nod answering a Yes.

Ross: "OK! See you later Laur!" He said as he finally opened the door and walked out.

"WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!" "Did he just call me Laur?!" "Ugh...why did I say YES?!" "I don't want to be friends with him!" I shouted on my mind.

I just walk out of the room annoyed and frustrated. I hope I will not be late because of this.

ROSS' POV

Yes! Me and Laura are now friends! But sadly she is not on my next class. When I arrived at my next class I notice that I don't know anyone here except Megan. Well we're not that close but at least I know her name! I sat beside her hoping to have a conversation with her. But that's like one out of million chances to happen.

Ross: "Hi" I said shyly.

Megan: She turned to me and smiled "Hi Ross!"

Ross: You know my name?

Megan: "Of course! This is the third time we are classmates. How could I not know you?" she said with a chuckle.

Ross: I laugh a bit to her reaction. "Well because you are popular and I'm not."

Megan: Oh come on! I may be a popular but I'm not like those populars which people see in movies and what most people expect to be.

Ross: Cool! You are awesome!

Megan: Thanks! You too. You know we should hang out sometime.

Ross: Yeah sure! That would be so cool!

Then our history teacher came. We had the subject orientation and stuff and blah Blah BLAH...

Time pass by and our class is now over. I got up and got my things.

Megan: See ya Ross!

Ross: "Yeah! See you around!" I said with a smile. She returned it with her bright smile.

I got out of the room and went to my next class, Math. When I arrived there I immediately saw Laura. She was reading a book then I thought of an awesome idea. I went to her back and shouted "BOO!!!" She literally jumped higher than I expected. She turned to me angrily and gave me a glare while I was laughing hard. Man! She is cute when she gets angry! Wait...What?!

Ross: "You should have seen your face!" I said, still laughing hard.

Laura: "Ross it's not funny!" She said in a serious face.

Ross: "Yes it is!" I said while laughing.

Laura then shoot a deathly glare at me and was about to attack me but fortunately I was saved by our teacher when she came in the classroom. I quickly sat on the chair next to Laura's, still smiling like an idiot. This is going to be an interesting year...
