Chapter 9 (PINKY SWEAR)

LAURA:

I quickly called Ross after I realized that I forgot to meet with the group today. How could I forget it?! Ugh... stupid me! It's been 15 minutes calling Ross but he still wouldn't pick up the phone! I really think he's mad at me. I tried again 15 more minutes until I gave up. I think I'm just gonna say sorry to him and the rest of the group tomorrow personally. I drifted off to sleep thinking what to say for tomorrow.

ROSS:

I received a call from Laura when I got home. I'm still kinda mad at her so I ignore it. She tried calling me again and again and again so I decided to just turn off my phone and go to sleep.

I woke up and got ready for school as usual then walked to school. When I got there I walked to my locker only to find my petite brunette best friend leaning against my locker waiting for me. Once she saw me, she immediately ran up to me and hugged me saying ''Sorry'' a million of times fastly.

Ross: ''Woah...'' I said chuckling.

Laura: Ross, I'm so so so sorry. I really forgot about it. I don't know why but I'm really really sorry.

For some reason my madness towards her was immediately gone and was replaced by forgiveness.

Ross: OK..OK..OK... I forgive you.

Laura: "Yay! Thank you thank you thank you THANK YOU!'' She said hugging me tighter.

There's clearly no personal space between us now. She noticed it too and quickly pulled away from the hug. Her cheeks turned red because of embarrassment.

Laura: ''Sorry'' She said embarrassed.

Ross: *I chuckle a little* ''It's OK! Wait... Why did you leave us anyway?''

Laura: *explain everything*

Ross: ''So Nick huh?!'' I said trying not to sound jealous. Because I'm not!

Laura: Yup! Why?

Ross: Oh nothing... I just want to make sure that I'm still your 'Best Guy Friend' and you will still hang out with me.

Laura: Of course you dummy! You're even the one who hangs out with Megan A LOT!

Ross: ''Wait... Who are we talking about again?'' I said playing dumb.

She playfully pushed me and giggle as I did too.

Ross: ''Just remember you will always be my best friend no matter what happens.'' I said seriously, looking straight to her eyes.

She smiled widely.

Laura: ''And you'll always be my best friend too. Promise me you'll never change and be the same Ross I know, the Ross who's crazy and weird yet super nice and fun to be around.'' She said holding up her pinky finger.

I laugh a bit at her action. She's so dorky sometimes but that just makes her adorable. She's ADORKABLE!

Ross: ''I promise.'' I said holding up my pinky towards her making a pinky swear.

She then hugged me again and few seconds later the bell rang. I quickly got my things, she said she already got hers because she arrived early. Then we head towards our class together before we are considered late.

Before lunch Laura explained everything to them and they said it's fine.

-At Lunch-

Laura: Sorry guys but I gotta run. I still have to prepare for my next class. Got a big presentation coming up. So bye guys!

Miranda and Luke: Us too! Gotta go! Bye! (Random Fact: Luke joined us at the 2nd day of school)

Ross and Ellie: Bye!

When they left Ellie asked me something I never expected.

Ellie: So Ross who do you like?

Ross: Uhm... Where did that come from?

Ellie: ''Just answer the question!'' She half-yelled. Gosh! She scares me sometimes!

I though for a while if I really have feelings for her. And after a while I decided I might actually have a little feelings for her.

Ross: Uhm... I think I have a little feelings for ...
