Chapter 14 (It's Official)

ROSS

Few days ago when the populars and I were hanging out at the food court in the mall, they kept teasing Megan that she has a crush on me. I just laugh it off thinking that she, a pretty popular girl, will NEVER have a crush on me. While she, always turn red every time they trade her, I think it's cite.

*Flashback*

Megan: Hey Ross can I talk to you?

Ross: Sure

We moved to another table and talk.

Megan: I know this is embarrassing but I think I like you...

I was taken aback about what she said. Megan, the miss popular, the pretty Megan said she likes me! Oh my gosh! Without thinking I said a thing I didn't expect...

Ross: I think I like you too.

Megan: You do?

I nodded

Megan: So does that make us a couple?

Ross: I guess so...

*End of flashback*

I still can't believe I said that... Right now I realize that maybe Laura and I are just meant to be friends. I realize I like Megan more than I thought. But my relationship with Megan is still between us two. She said she's not yet ready to tell the whole school about us but she also said she will be the one who will announce it.

Megan: Ross I think I'm ready. Can I tell them now?

Ross: Sure

Megan: Attention everyone!

Everyone in the cafeteria turned their attention to Megan.

Megan: I would like to announce to everyone that Ross (she said pointing to me) and I are officially a couple. He is the sweetst guy ever and I'm proud to say that he's my boyfriend.

She comes closer to me and kisses my lips. I kissed back but after 5 seconds I pull away. I watch people smile at us and hear some 'awes' and claps from the audience but one person caught my eye LAURA.

I saw her stood up and looked at me with sadness in her eyes before she walked away. Ellie then stood up and gave me a disappointed look. I'm so confuse, why did Laura reacted like that?

I ignored it and just give my attention back to my girlfriend, Megan.

LAURA

I can't believe that just happened! Who am I kidding?! Of course he'd pick miss popular, pretty, tall, rich Megan over miss nerdy, ugly, short, average girl Laura! I should've known... I should have not get my hopes up, that he'll like me someday... cause I'm worthless compared to Megan.

Now I'm running... running away from Ross, from Megan, from everyone and from the world! I finally stop on a quiet garden in our school. I sat down on the grass and closed my eyes crying and thinking of what is happening. Then I felt someone sat beside me, I opened my eyes and saw Elllie.

Ellie: I'm so sorry about what happened.

Laura: No, you don't have to be sorry. It's my fault, I should've never expect Ross to like me,

Ellie: Actually...

For some reason she didn't finish her sentence. She closed her mouth immediately.

Laura: Actually what?

Ellie: Never mind that... If Ross is too blind to see the beautiful Laura I see then he doesn't deserve you.

Laura: I'm pretty sure you're the only one who sees that. Even my parents and I don't see that. It's because it is the truth.

Ellie: Yes you are Laura! You're beautiful inside and out!

Laura: Yeah Right... *Sarcasm* But you're right at one point. Ross is not deserving for my tears. I'll show him that I'm nit affected...that I don't care about him anymore! I will not cry over a boy again especially for him!

Ellie: Go for it Laur! He might be one of my best friends, I don't know if he is still, but you are also my best friendand he hurt you. So I'll support you Laura!

Laura: Thanks Ellie.

I gave her a hug and we walked to our different classes.

I'm now at Art Class. I sat beside Nick, he kept me company when Ross wasn't there for me.

Nick: Hey Laura! Wait were you crying?

I look away and wipe completely my tears.

Laura: Pfff... Whaaaaaaaatttt???

Nick: Laura, I know you're lying...

Laura: Fine, yes. I was crying.

Nick: Why?

Laura: I don't want to talk about it...

Nick: It's fine... but just know that I'm always here for you.

Laura: Thanks Nick.

Then our class started.

Hey guys!!! I know it's been more than a month since I last updated. I'm extremely sorry! It's because of school, so many activities are going on. I'm attending a Science Quiz Bee!!! Yay!!! I hope I'll win! :) Please pray for me! :)
