Chapter 5: Vacation

GABIS POV

I sighed as I fell back into my bed. I've been working like crazy the last few weeks and I am mentally and physically exhausted.

I recently got into the modeling industry. It's been a slow start, but it's picked up and I am growing.

Niki origionally got me into modeling because her mom works for a fashion magazine and got her into modeling when she was young, but once Niki and I became friends she pushed me to become a model as well.

I just landed a job with Forever 21 which is huge, for me, so I've been extremely busy with that, but I just got informed I am getting a few days off which is great because I really need it.

"Hey, I'm off for the next week. Let's do something fun. I feel like I haven't spent time with you in forever." I said to Niki as she walked past by my bedroom door.

She stopped in my door frame.

"I know. The last time we actually got to have fun together was at Blackbears party."

Its been two months since we partied with Blackbear and his tour is now over. The last I've heard from him was when he commented on my Instagram picture. I'll get an occasional like on some of my pictures since then. So nothings really new with that.

"I only have a one day shoot in LA this week, but besides that I'm going to be free. Wait, you know what we should do?" She asked enthusiastically.

"What?"

"Let's make a mini vacation out of it. Lets go to LA for the week and just have fun and do crazy shit!"

"We haven't done enough crazy shit lately. I'm in." I laughed.

This was genius we both needed a break from everything and we both love LA. Our dream is to live there one day, it's just too expensive for two nobody models.

"I'll call my mom and get everything set up." Then she walked away calling her mom.

I closed my eyes and immediately fell asleep from being so exhausted.

"Wake up! Gabi, wake up!" Niki shouted, waking me up.

"What?" I said through my sleepy haze.

"Pack your bags we leave at noon." She smiled.

I jumped out of bed, picked up my phone looking at the time it was ten I have two hours to pack and get ready.

"Done." I sighed as I zipped my suitcase.

I rolled my bag out to the kitchen to see Niki waiting with her bags by the door.

"Right on time." She smiled as she began to open the door.

We packed our bags into her Jeep and climbed in. We were ready for the hour and a half long drive.

"So what do you wanna do while we're there?" I asked her.

"I have something in mind." She smirked.

"Oh no I know that look. We're gonna do something crazy." I nervous laughed.

"Gabi, wake up! You're gonna miss your favorite part of LA, the city." She said hitting my thigh.

I woke up and looked out the window to see the city of LA right in front of my eyes. I awed at the veiw.

I love the city. Something about it just attracts me. It's so beautiful and intriguing. Everyone in it has their own story and destination, it's fascinating.

"Here we are." Niki said pulling up to a nice hotel.

"This is where we're staying?" I asked, in shock at how nice it is.

"I guess so. My mom booked everything, not me. She hooked us up majorly!"

We both proceeded inside with our bags in hand and found our room, which was huge for just the two of us. I already never want to leave.

After we unpacked and changed we decided we needed to get a late dinner somewhere.

"Hows In N Out sound?" Niki suggested.

"Sounds smackin'!"

After dinner we went back to the hotel and decided to turn in early since we wanna go out and do stuff tomorrow.

"So what're we going to do tomorow?" I asked.

"I have something planned. Get up by ten!" Following that Niki then went into her room for bed.

I wonder what she has planned?
