Chapter 10: What?

GABIS POV:

"You guys did what?!" Niki gasped as I finished telling her what happened last night.

"I know, I feel disgusting."

"You don't have feelings for him, do you?" She asked me.

I looked at her as if she was stupid.

"Of course I don't have feelings for him! I'm not an idiot."

"Well you just always end up kissing him, or- well ya know."

"It's him who ends up kissing me! I don't chase after him, if anything I avoid him." I said defensively.

"Well I'm all for being friends with Blackbear, but you have to be careful before you do develop feelings because acting like this with anyone, let alone him, could leave you thinking he wants more than to just "have fun" when thats all he wants. He doesn't do relationships or feelings so don't forget to keep that in mind."

"I don't nor will I ever like someone as awful as him." I sighed, tired of talking about this.

"Alright." She said in disbelief.

"So what are we going to do today?" I asked, changing the subject.

"Today I have my shoot, so if you want to come to that you can."

"Sure, I'll come. It'd be nice to see your mom!"

"Alright then lets get ready because we have to be there in an hour."

I threw on a pair of leggings and an oversized sweater and met Niki at the door. We hoped in her car and drove to the mansion she was shooting in.

As we arrived we walked in to see a bunch of models everywhere. We approached our friend Ashley, who models for Niki's mom pretty often.

"Hey Ashley! How are you?" I asked, giving her a hug.

"Oh my gosh! I'm good. It's so nice to see you guys!" She squealed.

"Have you seen my mom?" Niki asked.

"I believe she's in the back room talking to the owner of the house and some scary guy."

"What?" I laughed.

"Lets go find out!" Niki said walking towards the back room.

We walked into an office like room to see her mom and two men in the room arguing.

"Hey mom?" Niki said almost more like a question than a greeting.

"Oh Niki you made it and you brought Gabi! Hello girls, so sorry about this little mishap, I'll be out in a minute!" She said sweetly.

As she turned around to speak to us I saw the scary man Ashley was talking about and I couldn't fucking believe it. It was Blackbear.

I flashed a smile at Mrs. Demartino and turned around quickly.

"What the fuck is he doing here?" I asked Niki.

"I don't know." She replied with a dumbfounded look on her face.

Why is this guy everywhere?

"Sorry about that girls. How are you? Oh how I missed you, Gabi! I haven't seen you in a while." Mrs. Demartino said rejoining us.

"I've missed you too!" I said giving her a hug.

Mrs. Demartino loves me. She is the sweetest lady. She's helped me with my career so much.

"What was all that about?" Niki asked her mom.

"The owner overbooked the mansion and overlapped our shoot with some rappers music video."

"So what are we going to do then?" Niki asked.

"I'm not sure. The rapper, Blackberry or something like that, is being very stubborn so I left the room to let him and owner figure it out."

I let out a giggle when she called him Blackberry. Niki nudged me probably because she didn't want her mom knowing we know Blackbear.

I saw him exit the room and begin to approach us.

"I have to use the restroom, I'll be right back." I said as I walked towards him.

"What are you doing here?" He asked me with a sly smile on his face, I could tell this whole situation was very entertaining for him.

"I could ask you the same thing. Are you following me this time?" I said mocking when he asked me if I was following him when we first saw him in LA.

He chuckled.

"I'm actually here because I'm supposed to be filming a music video here today, but the stupid ass owner overbooked with some stupid modeling gig. So I'm here to get the time I paid for."

"Yeah, I know. Niki's part of that "stupid modeling gig" and her moms the one running it." I said defensivly.

He raises his eyebrows and walked away.

What? He just is going to walk away from me in the middle of our conversation?

I rolled my eyes and walked back over to Niki, seeing her mom was talking to some other people.

"I think he's going to try kick you guys out." I said annoyed.

"Why? What the hell?"

"He's supposed to be filming his music video, which he thinks is so much more important than our shoot." I laughed sarcastically.

"Actually I'm not kicking anyone out." He said behind me.

I looked at Niki with wide eyes realizing that he just heard me talk shit on him.

"Really? Cause it sure as hell sounded like it." I said, turning around to face him.

"No I actually just told the owner I'm willing to do it tomorrow since it's Niki's shoot."

Well that really made me feel like an asshole for talking shit when he was doing something nice.

"Really?" Niki asked with a kind tone.

"Yeah, under one condition."

Niki and I looked at him with questioning eyes.

"Gabi is in my music video."
