Chapter 26: Sneaking

GABIS POV

I woke up to an empty bed and grabbed my phone to see it was almost noon. I must've been exhausted.

I rolled out of bed and yawned. I fixed my hair and joined everyone out in the living room.

"She's alive!" Franny joked.

"Yeah, sorry. I was really tired." I laughed.

I glanced at Niki and saw she raised an eyebrow at me. I don't think she's just going to let this one go.

"Well are you ready to go?" She asked me.

I frowned because I didn't want leave yet. I really enjoy being around Franny, Jc, Bobby, and even Kian, even if things are kinda weird between him and I.

"I guess, I wish we didn't have to go so soon."

"I wish you didn't either." Jc said placing a kiss on Nikis head.

I smiled at them and returned to Kians room to grab my bag.

"Hey." Kian said as he joined me in his room.

"Hi." I said awkwardly.

"I'm really glad that you stayed with us this weekend. I really enjoy being around you." He smiled.

Oh no he's starting to like me.

"Thank you for sharing your room with me." I laughed and started to walk away, but he stopped me.

He pulled me in closer and began to lean in. I didn't know what to do so I panicked and turned it into a hug. I felt bad for rejecting him, but I didn't want him getting the wrong idea.

"Ready?" I asked Niki and she nodded and gave Jc a kiss godbye.

"Gabi! Here's my number, let's do something sometime!" Franny said grabbing my phone and entering her number in.

I gave her a hug goodbye and we left.

"So where were you really last night?" Niki asked after a few moments of driving in silence.

"I couldn't sleep so I went for a drive." I lied.

She rolled her eyes, but surprisingly let it go.

I went on Twitter to help the time pass on the car ride and stopped when I saw Bear had tweeted something.

"i cant wait to see u again"

I smiled at the tweet and liked it.

As I continued scrolling I decided to go through my notifications and saw a fan just tagged Bear and I in a tweet that had a screenshot of his tweet in my liked tweets and a meme saying "my heart can't take dis."

I laughed and liked their tweet as well.

"And we're home!" Niki cheered as we walked through the front door.

I set my bags down in my room and grabbed my laptop to check on everything from work.

"I have another shoot in New York City in two weeks!" I squeled.

"That's awesome! I'm so proud of you for your growth."

I looked up at her with a cheeky smile, got up, and gave her a hug.

"I love you!" I said kissing her head before going back to my laptop to do some work.

I slammed my laptop shut looking at Niki who was passed out on the couch next to me. I glanced at the time and saw it was midnight.
