GABIS POV

I looked at my phone as we were getting ready to watch some movies at the hotel and I had a bunch of missed calls from Niki and a text from Lisa.

Lisas text said "Flight is at ten tomorrow morning. Will be waiting in lobby at nine."

I have to leave already. I wish I could stay for a few more days, and I'm going to be far from Bear when I go back.

"Who's that?" Bear asked as he sat next to me on the couch.

"My agent. My flights at ten tomorrow morning." I said in a sad tone.

"Oh shit, you're leaving already?"

"I guess so." Then there was an awkward pause.

"But Niki has been blowing my phone up so I better call her before we start the movie." I stood up and walked to another room to talk to her.

"About time you call me! I've been trying to get ahold of you all day!" She said as soon as she picked up.

"I'm sorry! I haven't been on my phone at all today." I apologized.

"Oh because you're so busy with Blackbear?"

"I can explain everything Nik."

"Well you have a lot to explain then." She said sternly.

"And I'll explain it all tomorrow when I get home! I love you! Bye!" I said and hung up before she could yell at me.

"Sorry about that." I said rejoining Bear again in the family room.

"It's good babe."

I smiled at him calling me babe and then we played the movie.

-

I woke up to my alarm going off signaling it was eight. I looked over at Blackbear unsure of if I should wake him or not, but I decided to hop in the shower and let him sleep.

-

As I grabbed my towel to dry myself off I was startled to see Bear sitting on the sink waiting for me to get out.

I squeled and hopped back into the shower not wanting him to see my completely naked body.

"C'mon don't be shy." He cooed

I could tell he was smirking just from his voice.

I stretched my arm out and grabbed my towel, quickly wrapping it around myself before I got back into his visibility.

"No fun." He said as he made a pouty face once he saw I put on a towel.

I swatted at his arm and pushed him out the door and locked it so I could get dressed in peace.

-

"I have to meet Lisa down in the lobby at 9." I said as I looked at my phone which read 8:52.

"I wish you weren't going so soon."

"Me either." I said sadly.

"Let me walk you down to the lobby." He said as he took my hand in his and grabbed my bag with his free hand.

We got into the elevator and silently waited until the doors opened and he walked me up to Lisa.

"Well have a safe flight and text me when you land." He said awkwardly.

"I will, thank you for everything I had so much fun." I flashed a small smile.

He nodded and leaned in and lightly kissed me, then turned and walked away.

I looked back at Lisa with an awkward smile.

"Thought he wasn't a good guy if I recall from our conversation we had yesterday?" She asked with an eyebrow raised.

"It's a really long story."

"Good thing we have a six hour flight ahead of us." She said sassily and led me to the car.

-

"Thank you for getting me to NYC and back. You're the best!" I said to Lisa as I got out of the car.

"I know." She smiled and then I shut the door, grabbed my bag, and began up to my apartment.

"I'm home!" I shouted as I walked through the door.

"About time, I've been waiting all day!" Niki said embracing me in a hug.

"You have a lot of explaining to do." She said crossing her arms.

I sighed and sat down at the kitchen table with her. I quickly texted Bear that I was home before we began to talk.

"So Bear and I had to do a shoot and interview together." I started.

"That's why you were in NYC?"

I shook my head yes.

"But I thought you hated him now because he was an asshole to you?"

"I was upset because he was an asshole to me I never said I hated him."

"Okay, whatever. What changed?" She rolled her eyes.

"So we're doing the interview and in front of everyone he decides to tell me he wants there to be romance between us!"

"No fucking way. Do you want that to?" She asked like she doesn't already know the answer.

"Yeah, I think I do." I said shyly.

"Do you think it's a good idea?"

"I don't know, but we do have fun together. Like he got us a suite at this really nice hotel and took me out and showed me around New York City then took me to a really nice dinner. It was really nice."

"It sounds like he's serious about this. Just be careful." She warned me for the tenth time.

"I will be."

"Well when are you seeing him again?"

"I don't know we didn't really talk about that." I sighed.

What if we never do see each other again because he decides he can't do the distance or that he just doesn't want anything to do with me anymore?
