Chapter 47: Baby

GABIS POV

Today is my first day back to work which means it has been two weeks since that night. I still can't believe it all happened. Leave it to Bear and I to be in the hospital within two weeks of each other. It's actually sort of funny, although Bear doesn't think so.

He has refused to leave my side and has been babying me. It's starting to get annoying. I'm fine. I just want to go back to normal at this point. They even caught Bears dealer and threw him in jail. It's all over.

"I'm heading out!" I shouted as I walked back into my room where Bear was laying in bed.

"Are you sure you're ready to go back?" He asked.

"Yes, I've been ready. I'm just sad that todays our final day of this project." I sighed.

Todays the last day of shooting for the Forever 21 project with Gabbie, Cameron, Nash, and Madison. I missed out on the last two weeks and am now only going back for the last day. I love the group and the project has been so fun. It's going to be very emotional today.

"I know, it sucks that you missed the last two weeks babe." Bear said as he wrapped his arms around me as he remained sitting in bed while I stood in front of him.

I nodded with a sad expression on my face, placing my forehead on his.

"I need to get going." I said before giving him a quick peck and walking away before he could make up another excuse for me to stay with him.

"I love you!" He shouted as I opened the front door.

"I love you!" I shouted back before stepping out of the apartment and making my way to my car.

I slowly walked up to everyone who was standing all huddled together. I quietly snuck up on them before jumping on Camerons back.

"Woah!" Cameron gasped as he noticed it was me.

He began to spin me around as everyone laughed. I tried my best to ignore the slight pain in my side that was triggered by his quick movements.

"You're back!" Madison shouted as her and Gabbie attacked me in a hug once Cameron set me down.

"Welcome back." Nash smiled as he pulled me in for a gentle hug.

"Just in time for the last day." I frowned as I leaned into Camerons side.

"Don't talk about it!" Gabbie made a pouty face.

"I know, I'm so sad." Madison added.

"The end of this project doesn't mean the end of our friendship guys." Cameron stated as he rubbed my arm.

"Yeah, we'll still hang out!" Nash added.

"Good. Don't think you all have seen the last of me." I joked.

"Everyone gather around for our last shoot together!" The head of the project announced.

We all exchanged sad glances before walking over to gather with the whole team.

"And that's a wrap everyone! Thank you all for a great few months. We really had such a great team and I couldn be happier with how this project turned out." The head announced as we finished our final photos

I looked at Cameron with a puppy face. I can't believe it's over. I felt someone drap an arm around my back as I turned to see Madison leaning her head on mine.

"I can't believe it's over." I sighed to the group.

"At least we have the boat party tomorrow, that's going to be fun." Gabbie added.
