~Genevieve ArellanoIt's Monday again, I saw Harry in the restaurant two days ago. After leaving his table, we both kept making funny faces at one another when no one was looking. After he finished his meal, he made sure to send me a wink and flash his amazing smile before leaving. He texted me later that day, and we ended up having an hour long conversion about where he is going to take me on our first date.
I would go anywhere as long as I'm with Harry. But Harry ended up thinking of a secret place and promised to take me Friday night. Friday needs to hurry up. I'm really excited and glad that I now know that Harry has feelings for me. I know we always flirt with one another but it doesn't mean that he likes me. But now that both our feelings are out in the open, I think we can really start to move things forward. I'm glad and I can't wait to see Harry in geography class today.Cam and I have been waiting for the bus to arrive for what seems like decades, but it's only been about 5 minutes.
"This bus is a joke." I roll my eyes and Cam laughs.
"You're so impatient it's unbelievable."
"How are things with Ella?" I ask, trying to change the subject.
"Good, really good. We've went on a couple dates and I'm thinking of asking her out soon." He beams and I smile.
"I'm glad you're happy Cameron." I smile and he cringes.
"Don't call me Cameron, you never call me Cameron. That's like me calling you Genevieve."
"That's my name." I smile.
"Yeah but we always call each other by those nicknames." He whines.
"I know. I was just trying something different." I chuckle and he shakes his head.
"Well, don't." He pouts and I can't help but laugh louder.
"You're such a child." I roll my eyes.
"No I'm not." He frowns.
We are interrupted by the bus finally pulling over. I smirk at Cam and make my way into the bus with Cam right behind me. We make our way to the back and thankfully there are no annoying little children here today. Don't get me wrong, I love kids and I plan on having them when I'm older but the ones on these buses are evil.
The bus ride is quicker than usual and we get to school 10 minutes early. I wave a goodbye to Cam and make my way to geography. I walk down the hallway and spot a mop of brown curls, already standing by the door. He notices my presence and sends me a wink.
I roll my eyes and stand in front of him."Why did you roll your eyes." He frowns.
"Because I dislike you Harry Styles." I can't help the smile that starts making it's way onto my face.
"Oh you do, do you? Well Genevieve Arellano, I'm not a big fan of you myself." He smirks.
"Liar."
"True." He chuckles and I smile.
"You have a very nice smile Gen." He compliments and I feel my cheeks heat up. It's crazy that he has this effect on me, everything he says makes me blush.
"As do you Harry." I wink and he laughs.
"Enter the room." Miss Apple says, interrupting our chat.
We both enter and go to our seats in the corner. Harry literally just stared at me the whole time and we talked for most of the class. I don't usually do this but any chance I have to talk to Harry, I will take. I really hope this week flies by because I'm really excited for our date on Friday.
When I got home I decided to go out and train, I have practiced a few times since the first practice. I put my leggings and muted pink jumper on along with shoes before heading out. I want to practice some skills and add some tricks into them. I grab one of the sticks and place it next to the mats on the floor. I do a little warm up consisting of a few star jumps and jogging on the spot. I stretch my arms and legs before picking the stick up.
I do the mini combo that my father taught me last time, hit twice, spin, hit. What can I add to make it a bit more, wow? I hit twice, turn and jump into an aerial. My arms stay off the floor and my legs swing round in a cartwheel before I land and turn to hit again. I haven't done one of those in years. I hear clapping in the distance and see my father approaching.
"That looked amazing." He says and I smile.
"Thank you."
"I honestly think you could be a great fighter, mundane or not, you're special." He smiles.
{Mundanes are humans}
"I am?" I ask.
"Yes! You've got the wow factor, if we go out on a mission and you manage to kill a demon with those tricks, I mean you'd be great." He smiles, "You remind me of your mother when you fight like that. Not only could she fight the best, she looked the best when doing it."
I sigh, "She was great." The mention of my mother breaks my heart.
"Carry on." He nods and walks back into the house.
I train for another hour or so before going inside, I call Harry before going to bed. He answers after the second ring.
"Hello?"
"Hey! How are you?" I ask him and he pauses.
"I'm good thank you, are you ok?" He seems a bit worried.
"Yes, why wouldn't I be?" I ask.
"Because you never call me so I assumed something might have happened." He sighs.
"Oh, no! I'm fine, honestly." I smile, he is such a cutie.
"Thank god. " he sighs.
We talk for about 20 minutes before we say goodnight, I'm exhausted. The second my face hits the pillow, I'm fast asleep.
