"To Herc's last year of college!" The French man who's already slurring and leaning against the table calls out to us. I down a shot. We're holed up in a sketchy bar, one that let's underaged kids in, so long as they don't drink. Like that's going to happen.

I'm probably the least drunk here, and I've had enough to give me a buzz. I promised Alex I wouldn't get full blown drunk tonight. Not that I would've wanted to. The thought of a hangover outweighs the idea of taking another drink.

The rest of the group laughs loudly though. Hercules is sweeping up Lafayette in a hug from behind, lifting him from his feet a little. He yells and twists around, sloppily mashing his lips to his boyfriend's. They're an unlikely couple in my eyes, but Alex told me it was just a matter of time when they got together a couple weeks ago.

Alexander himself leans against me in our booth. I have my arm wrapped securely around him. The last time we came to this bar the bartender was hitting on him. The same girl works tonight, but I'm sure to let her see that he's mine.

He grins up at me. "Why can't we be cute like that?" He asks, gesturing over to our friends.

"Because you're too drunk and I'm not drunk enough." He sighs loudly. After a moment though, he's kissing my neck and wrapping his arms around my body. I grunt a little, knowing I shouldn't let him do this while he's so out of it. His hand finds its way to my thigh as he tries to climb into my lap. I pull away from him to see him pout.

"Why'd you do that?" He asks, clearly annoyed.

"We can't make out in the middle of a bar." I try to reason with him, but even as I do so Lafayette and Hercules are leaning against the wall, going at it. I roll me eyes.

"I don't want to make out," he whines, then crawls a little closer to me. "I wanna do it," he hisses in my ear, his words slurring a little. I can't help but laugh. He sits back and glares at me.

"We can do it when you're not five shots into the night." He rolls his eyes.

"You never let me do anything fun."

"Alex," I look him in the eye. "We had sex in the car yesterday because you couldn't wait for me to drive all the way home." He giggles a little.

"That was fun." He glances up as our friends walk past us and disappear around the corner towards the bathroom.

"Let's go home." I sigh, reaching for his hand and pulling him up. I feel like I'm in for a long night.

"Can we do it in the car on the way home?" He asks, I just chuckle.

"We'll see."

"I feel like shit." Alex groans from the dining table. The thing barely fits in my tiny apartment, but he insisted we buy it when he moved in.

"I told you to pace yourself." I tell him, making him glare at me. I laugh lightly and fish some Advil from the cupboard to give him, alongside the eggs I made for breakfast.

"How'd we even leave the bar? Did we Uber?" I shake my head, sitting down across from him.

"I drove." He raises an eyebrow that I scoff at. "Don't worry, you sobered me up real quick." His eyes widen.
