Eiko's POV
Instead of going to class, I went to the roof of the school. I didn't feel like going to class, knowing I'd get picked on. "Hey. Eiko." I lifted my head as Sakuya stood in front of me. "What are you doing up here?" He asked. "Just killing time." I answered.
"Cutting class?" He rephrased. "I guess so. If you tell on me, that's gonna be a problem. Wait, let me guess: Is this the part where you say, I sound just like Otogiri?" I asked. "How do you know her?" Sakuya asked.
"I don't know her, really. I've just heard about her a lot. Mostly about how I sound like her. You might even say that we're related. Like long lost siblings or something." I mentioned.
"You don't express a lot of emotion. Yeah, you're kind of like her. But I wouldn't say that you two are related." Sakuya said as he sat next to me. "Then, why don't you tell me? Who is this Otogiri person? Are they a guy or a girl? Are they nice or mean? Are they weird or friendly?" I asked.
"Wayyy too many questions there, Little Missy." Sakuya said as he grabbed both of my lips, shutting me up. I pushed his hand away. "I'm not that short." I said, bluntly. "You're pretty short to me." He mentioned.
"Almost everyone says that. I find that a problem." I said. Sakuya laughed at my comment. "By the way, I heard you gave Mahiru some kind of gift." I mentioned. "What?! Did Mahiru tell you that I did?" Sakuya asked, embarrassed.
"No, you did. Just now." I said, emotionlessly. "Huh? Uh... how did you know I gave him a gift?" He asked. "I didn't until you told me." I said. Sakuya sighed, in which I giggled.
After a while, we went back to class. As I was taking out books, I found Belkia in my bag. "Belkia? How'd you get in here?" I asked. "I'm so very hungry. Please let me have a little bit of your blood. Pretty please." He begged.
"That doesn't answer my question." I replied, bluntly. "Okay, okay. Tsubaki wanted me to look after you for a while." Belkia explained. "Why?" I asked. When he was about to answer, he was suddenly taken out of my hands.
"What's this you got here, Eiko? Some sort of a doll?" One of the mean girls said. "Yes, and I'd like him back please." I said. "Aw, little Eiko likes to play with dolls." She teased. I rolled my eyes and snatched Belkia out of her hands before collecting my stuff and leaving the classroom.
"Why do you let them do that?" Belkia asked as I walked down the stairs. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Those snot-nosed bratty girls. Why do you let them bully you like that?" He said. "Well... I don't know. I just think it's stupid to cause more conflict. It'll be such a problem." I said.
"Are you sure you're not Tsubaki's subclass?" Belkia asked. "I'm pretty sure." I said.
Once I got home, I went to my room. "You can transform here. Nobody ever comes up here." I said. "Not even your brother?" Belkia asked as he was in his human form. "Well, sometimes he does, when he checks on me." I explained.
"Hmm...." Belkia looked around the room. "You sure do like dolls." He mentioned. "Yeah, I guess so." I said, looking at a doll that sat on my top shelf. "I like collectign them. It's sort of like a hobby of mine." I explained.
"Hey, Eiko. You in there?" My brother asked as he knocked on my door. "You might wanna hide somewhere before he comes in." I said to Belkia as I faced him. But when I turned around, he was gone. "He ran." I mumbled. But where did he go?
"Hey," I looked towards the door as my brother stood in the entrance of my room. "Come on, it's time to go." He said. "Already?" I asked. "Yep. You ready?" He asked. "Uh-huh." I nodded and got off my bed before leaving with my brother. I wonder if Belkia went back to Tsubaki?
