Eiko sat in a chair as thick strings bind around her body, her eyes closed as if she was sleeping. She wore a collar around her neck as more thick strings were attached to it. "Eiko. Eiko, can you hear me?" I gently shook her shoulders and she slowly opened her eyes.
"Who... are you?" She asked, slowly. "Just hang on. I'm going to get you out of here." I said. I tore off the strings, but they just reformed themselves, holding her more tightly than before. "You shouldn't bother," I looked at Eiko as scratches appeared on her face and neck.
"If you break the strings, you'll also be hurting me," Eiko mentioned as she glanced t me. "Don't you see? I can't leave this place. Not until I understand."
"Understand what, Eiko? What do you need to understand?" I asked. "I have to understand... why my mother left me. Why did she abandon me? Was I burden to her?" Eiko said. She began to cry blood and tears while smiling softly.
"I guess... Mother must have been horrible and rotten to leave me to defend for myself..." Eiko said, sadly. "But I guess it's okay now, because I have Uncle Tsubaki with me. As long as I have him, I'm not alone."
"But you're not alone, Eiko. You were never alone. You have me and Mikuni with you. We've always been there for you." I told her. "Mikuni? Wait... Who are you?" Eiko asked. "It's me, Doubt Doubt." I said.
"Doubt... Doubt?" She repeated. Eiko stared at me as if trying to recognize me. "Eiko, you have to listen to me. You meant the world to the Mother. No doubt, she loved you." I said. "Lies," Eiko shook her head. "Nothing but lies. Mother was never there for me like Uncle Tsubaki was." She said.
"Tsubaki was never there for you, Eiko. He erased your memory and implanted fake images in your head, making it look like he was there for you all along. You have to believe me, Eiko." I said.
"And why should I?"
"Because I'm your uncle!"
Eiko's eyes widened slightly. "Uncle Doubt Doubt?" She said. "Argh!" Male Eiko appeared from behind the chair Eiko was in and shot me in the chest with a gun of his own. "You can't let her remember! She belongs here!" He yelled.
"No, she doesn't!" I yelled back. I took out my gun and aimed it at him as I was just about fed up with this guy. "Ah, ah, ah... If you shoot me, the you also shoot Eiko here." Male Eiko smirked as he roughly grabbed under her face.
"Let her go. Now." I ordered. "Or else what? As long as I'm connected to Eiko, there's nothing you can do about it." He chuckled.
Eiko's POV
"Don't listen to him, Eiko. He's just trying to get inside your head." The Black Rabbit said as he was in his human form. "He talks to me like he knows me." I stated. "He doesn't know you. Trust me." He said.
I frowned slightly as the man said his name was Doubt Doubt. His name sounds familiar, just like Mahiru's name. Is it possible I've met them somewhere before? But where? When?
Something doesn't feel right. I closed my eyes as I tried to remember. Wait a second... I do remember Doubt Doubt. He was with me the whole time I was growing up, along with some other man. His name...
What was his name? "Mikuni..." I whispered. "That's it, Eiko. Remember. Remember Mikuni, your big brother. Your uncles." Doubt Doubt said. "Don't listen to him! He's lying!" Black Rabbit said. "You people are cruel. You killed my uncle's master." I said, frowning at Doubt Doubt.
"Is that what Tsubaki told you?" He asked. "Yes." I nodded.
"And do you believe him?"
"Of course I believe him."
"What else did he tell you?"
"That you're trying to take me away from him, and that you don't really care about me."
"Of course he doesn't care about you! Why do you think he's lying to you? So, he can take you away from Uncle Tsubaki!" Black Rabbit said. I narrowed my eyes slightly as I remember hugging Doubt Doubt and drinking his blood. "Something doesn't add up..." I mumbled.
My eyes widened slightly with shock when Doubt Doubt hugged me. "If I didn't care about you, Eiko, would I have been able to do this?" Doubt Doubt asked. I blushed slightly and suddenly, all my memories returned.
"Get away from her!" Black Rabbit yelled as he shoved Doubt Doubt away. "Nothing you say will bring her back! She's never leaving this place! Never!" He yelled at him. He got in front of me and created a gun before aiming it at him.
"Now you're gonna pay, Servamp of Envy." He said. I blinked and looked down slightly. "Uncle... Doubt Doubt..." I whispered before looking at him with wide eyes.
"Uh-oh..." Black Rabbit mumbled. "Uncle Doubt Doubt!" I cheered. I broke free from the thick strings that were restraining me and hugged my uncle tightly. "I'm so happy to see you!" I cheered, happily, as Uncle Doubt Doubt hugged me back.
"Welcome back, Eiko." He said with relief. "Damn it all... I wish you had stayed emotional and sad." Black Rabbit said, slightly irritated. "Why did you lie to me when you knew Uncle Doubt Doubt was telling the truth?" I asked him.
"Okay, okay. I'm sorry I lied to you. I just wanted to have a little fun. Can you blame a rabbit for trying? I'm so cooped up in your head 24/7, nothing exciting ever happens except for when I'm out in the real world." He admitted.
"Well, why didn't you just say so? I would've let you out if you had just asked," I let go of Uncle Doubt Doubt and walked over to Black Rabbit. "You should've just said something in the first place." I said as I stood in front of him. "You're not angry with me?" He asked.
"Of course not. I could never get mad at myself. Besides, I have to put up with you all day, so I don't really mind." I said. I hugged him and his body began to twinkle with stars. When it did, he turned into a small black rabbit with a carrot barrette near his ear.
"You can be handful at sometimes, but that's why I love you." I said, smiling softly at him. "Heh... Looks like this is one game I couldn't win. But that was fun, so let's play again some time, okay?" Black Rabbit said. "Sure. Just tell me when." I said.
The walls around us began to crumble away as Black Rabbit hopped on my shoulder. I looked at the ceiling and fake memories as they started to melt. "It's time to go home, Uncle Doubt Doubt." I told him.
I knew he was smiling under the bags he was wearing as he held out his hand to me. I took it and smiled back at him.

"Jeje! Eiko!"
I blinked my eyes open as I found myself on the ground with Uncle Doubt Doubt by my side. I looked up as Mikuni kneeled down beside us to make sure we were okay. "Mikuni..." I whispered. "I've been looking everywhere for you guys. Are you alright?" He asked.
I quickly sat up and hugged him tightly. "I'm sorry I ran off without telling you. I'm sorry for making you go through the trouble of finding me. I'm sorry for everything, Big brother." I apologized.
"It's okay, Little Eiko. I'm not mad at you. I'm just glad you and Jeje are safe." He said as he hugged me back. Uncle Doubt Doubt sat up and rubbed his head. "Are you okay?" I asked him, in which he nodded.
I looked around my surroundings and noticed that everything was a bit of a mess. What happened while I was out? On second thought, I don't think I wanna know.
